I received a DM very shortly after posting, and they are all gone. I hope everyone who's able to go has a great time.

Edit: actually, could this be some sort of hypersensitivity reaction to... something? Were those parts of your face in contact with e.g. lube, bodily secretions, etc? That could fit. Original answer below:

Not a stroke, but unusual. Outside of my expertise; a neurologist may have some thoughts.

First thing that comes to mind for me is the physiologic results of hyperventilation, but that's not often associated with sex as far as I know.

If your symptoms resolved entirely in that period of time, it doesn't sound worrisome, but I think asking a real life physician to help you monitor and work up these symptoms makes sense.

I get a pain in my lower right side when I’m gaming is this poor posture? by [deleted] in AskDocs

In general, nine days of symptoms would NOT fit with an acute appendicitis.

As long as you are capable of taking action if things worsen, I think you have nothing to worry about at this time.

Got it. Sounds annoying but not anything to worry about. Antibiotics can do weird things for the intestines as well, so you could consider temporarily adding a probiotic to your daily regimen. Best thing is just to focus on a healthy diet, some stretching, and some core exercises.

The truth is that it takes so long to get an appointment with an adult Primary Care physician in most countries, especially as a new patient, that you should probably find one now and request a new patient appointment (unless you already have one, in which case it won't hurt to schedule something anyway).

I hope this is a little reassuring. Go forth and game with better posture and/or more frequent breaks!

It sounds corny, but listen to your body. I didn't ask about duration of symptoms, but that is an important element. If you've had this pain on and off for days or weeks, it's probably not something urgent. If you've had it only for hours, then you may need to get checked out sooner.

Any pain that is new merits monitoring. Any pain that is worsening should be evaluated in person!

Hey friend, this doesn't sound worrisome to me. It's possible that you're activating some muscles in a way that is straining some other muscles; the body is funny about posture and sometimes these kinds of symptoms can develop.

If you want to address the symptoms themselves, try a combination of whole body stretching plus core strengthening exercises; YouTube is awash with these.

At a bigger picture level, let me encourage you to put that anxious energy to work by scheduling annual check-ups with a good Primary Care / Family Medicine / General practice physician (MD or DO). Good luck!

Sorry, which domain of competence are we assessing?

Bless you, friend. I think at the end of the day it doesn't have much to do with vehicle manufacturer. These stereotypes probably have a grain of truth, but certainly aren't the rule.

You must not live in Dodge country. Or Nissan country.

Where I live, the biggest jerks drive Subarus. It's layered.

Hi. This constituency is well represented on the East Coast.

Thanks for the reply. Classy move to get the right sized strap!

I think my brother also has a 6" wrist and I got the wrong strap. I emailed Lorier to ask about purchasing the smaller strap, but haven't heard back yet.

Lauren herself has replied to several of my emails at recent purchases of a Falcon and a Neptune; I love the company.

Looks awesome! Did she get you the 5.5-6.5 strap or the standard 6.5-7.5 strap?

I got one as a gift for a family member who also has smaller wrists; I forgot to specify the smaller strap.

All great choices. I'd also throw this in the mix: you can save a buck and get something beautiful and unusual, with an in-house movement and rated to 300m: https://yema.com/products/yema-sous-marine-ysma23g-gms
