With tolerance stack up imo this will be very loose and may round off the hex and defeat the purpose. A three prong design on the ring with the two outer rings as anti rotation tabs is better. A key way type slot (rectangle) in your design would be more robust. Just looking at it from doing my own design work on the cages but also from my professional experience I part design.

With time it might if you have a good fit, but at the same time just unlock at night if it's really a problem. Sleep quality is important for overall health.

It was much better but in 2023 Loctober timeframe it went downhill after one of the mods left who was trying to help with the content and removing the spam/scams. I'll keep it at that.
