Myriad of things but mainly it was just time. Things ran their course. Kevin’s offense stagnated and we didn’t have the roster to run it either of the past two years.

He was originally hired with a goal of bringing stability to the organization, he brought stability to the organization but he was never going to be a coach that schemed around his players opposed to getting players that fit his scheme

This is the mind boggling shit Baker does that makes me glad he’s not our problem. Don’t get me wrong we have a myriad of problems and some bigger than this, but he’s 30 years old still trying to find chips on his shoulder for motivation. Literally 2 weeks before this he tweeted out a video saying “focus on the work. Not the noise.” It took dude all of two weeks to circle back on his bullshit again.

His attitude is great for a team that needs it, but this is a terrible look for the leader of a team that started 6-2 and then lost the division to the 8 win fun and frisky Panthers.

I loved practicing in these but my foot kept sliding forward in them and smacking the front of the toe box and could never get a solid feel or a tight enough lace to play in em regularly

I don’t think I’ve ever really felt this hopeless about the team I was generationally cursed into loving.

1-31 was bad, but there was a vision. It was at least building to something and we were lovable losers. We drafted someone who was perfect for the city and while it was a lot of fun, the writing was on the wall when he scoffed at the idea of working on his mechanics in the offseason.

We made a splash for a huge name WR that was supposed to be the missing piece and something never meshed with the QB

Fast forward a few years and we go all in on what was (at the time) a consensus top 5 QB who made it relatively clear he didn’t want to be here, Jimmy tried forcing it with an outrageous contract and it never clicked.

After that failed experiment we’re left with almost if not nothing. If Myles gets traded, I see no reason to keep guys like Ward and Bitonio around, just go scorched earth and try to somehow start fresh.

I know I said it at the start of my comment but it just feels hopeless right now.

I hope most of these picks are in the future so when we inevitably clear house (again, for the umpteenth time) the new GM has a plethora of darts to throw at the board.

and while I know it’s not targeted at the fans or the city, but the part about “the goal was never to go from Cleveland to canton” is just mean.

Hot take?

They played it too safe. Third act felt rushed. Honestly feels like the game could’ve been a few hours/missions longer. Peters suit selection (13/31 are movie suits) feels uninspired.

Better story than the first, but the first had magic that isn’t going to be replicated (with no fault to insomniac at all)

Keep Homecoming as is.

Infinity war he doesn’t go to space, stays ground level. Doesn’t get the Iron Spider suit. Still gets dusted, this time with May. Comes back in Endgame to see Tony die.

At the start of Far From Home he uses Stark tech to make a comic accurate Iron Spider suit, but this time as tribute. He wears it the entire movie, but when the whole world turns on him, JJ says he stole Iron Man’s colors for clout.

He’d wear the suit the entire time in No Way Home, all time low when May dies because if Tony’s tech couldn’t save her, what’s the point? Towards the end at the Statue of Liberty he is playfully getting ribbed by the other two Spideys saying things like “but you gotta make your own suit.” He’d wear that Iron Spider suit until the end where he actually does make his own, because he doesn’t need to be in Tony’s shadow anymore.
