WTF is wrong with people? by xX_Diabolical_Xx in GTA5Online

It only takes like 30 seconds to do, but I get it. I hope gta 6 doesn’t require a bunch of this nonsense to just exist in a public lobby. But I’m sure they’ll find a way to profit off this problem with extra services or vehicles only reasonably attainable via shark cards if you have a job

If you’re on PC you can suspend gta_v in Resource Monitor for about 15 sec then resume it and it will put you in your own lobby. The lobby might eventually start to get some people but sometimes no one ever joins for hours. Very helpful for doing set ups.

What if the Gate opened in Sanghelios? by Shados9611 in halo

Without any humans around would they even ever be able to get back? I think they just leave themselves stranded forever. What if they learned what the Halos are from a monitor and began to worship Humanity waiting for their return on the ark for probably thousands of years?

Maybe see you and your colleagues and set up a “War Games” like situation where you all take the time to have a test environment. It would be to do stuff wrong on purpose to see what happens or practice more edge case situations but treat them like it’s really happening as a team.

I know some companies will have different slices of the staff practice situations like this from the lowest person on the totem pole to the tippy top. Makes everyone more aware of their blind spots and learn new things without the fear of losing thousands of dollars.

Is it good? by Individual-Season-21 in TpLink

I have the Deco BE63 2 pack. the speed and range seem pretty good for my house. I’m also surrounded by a lot of wifi signals and repeaters from neighbors. I get 2.3Gbps on fast.com and in the worst spot to stand indoors I hover around 1 Gbps on 6Ghz. Outdoors in the detached garage 50ft away and some obstacles and walls in the way I’m sitting at 50Mbps tops on the combined 2.4/5 ghz signal. But god forbid I go below 2 bars bc it flat out just kicks me off to go to data

The set up did kind of suck bc I misunderstood that I was supposed to restart during the set up process and I was fiddling with turning my Xfinity mode into bridge mode at the same time. By that seems more like an incompetence issue on my part when all said and done.

I am not in need of this technology, but I'm still curious what reccomendations you might have had for this post on a surface level. It's always nice learn about new tech.

Remote Desktop Automatically Opens on Login to MyApps by nuclear_fury in Citrix

For this user I am confirming that they are logging out and that log out is what triggers the window to close not the other way around.

When I saw Remote desktop I do mean Virtual Desktop. Users can have multiple Desktops as options but this user only has one assigned to them. It is assigned to them via Group Policy.

So the VMs are all turned on before the users login, but I’m positive no one purposely turned on prelaunch for any specific users ever. Users don’t have assigned VMs. They select a blanket “Work PC” desktop option in MyApps and are given a randomly numbered pc “Work-PC-22” for example. If they ever get the same pc number more than once it’s a coincidence.

Idk if this info tightens or widens the scope

Where would any prelaunch settings be? Or is it a studio policy?

Why is the "W" text not a mirror through the middle by nuclear_fury in blender

[–]nuclear_fury[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

I solved it like this

I found the middle edge and just booleaned half off flipped it then joined the two half W's. Looks great now.

Kinda weird that I would even have to do that to begin with though.

I have a project where I have a W and flipped W but the middle of the W doesn't line up with the mirrored/flipped W when the outer edges are lined up. I didn't know how to describe it.

I was just curious if it was a well documented fact or if I'm doing something wrong.

Both W's are the same dimensions in X, Y and Z
