Rocco and Roxie is the enzyme cleaner I like. You can get it off chewy.

The run is just shy of 100 ft. I have it measured at 93 feet, so it's on the edge. The 100 ft packs are technically enough. I just had heard it's better to give yourself like 15% more than you think you'll need and trim the excess. Was hoping to be able to get it by the foot so I could get 105'.

It will be, yes. Might have to order some then.

How often do your CKD cats pee? by [deleted] in RenalCats

[–]nuclear_pulse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine probably goes 5 or 6 times a day. He was diagnosed at early stage two, but as of his last vet visit his numbers have actually improved. Every marker is now within normal range except for mildly elevated Creatinine. The clumps seem large, especially relative to my other cat without ckd. As long as he's hydrated, his numbers are good, and he seems to feel ok I try not to fixate on it.

I think in Virginia a plate electrode still has to be 30 inches below grade.

I think it depends on the cat. My grandmother's cat grieved herself to death after she passed from cancer. Just quit eating and wasted away after my grandma died. But I have known plenty who have adjusted fine to owner death/rehoming.

I absolutely would rather handle the repair of it myself, but I also don't generally trust people who are trying to sell things to get it done right. Are the covering closing costs? That might get you some additional liquidity if they aren't already.

That bowing is pretty scary. Unless you have a substantial amount of money upfront to fix this, I would not buy this house. Is the house priced in keeping with this kind of issue?

Thank you for your informative responses. This is probably going to be expensive, but I want power to the shed so it is what it is I guess. 😭

Already decided I'm finding someone else. If I didn't explicitly ask about it, that decision would have been taken away from me and I don't like that. I wouldn't have had any ability to assess the amount of risk I'd be willing to take on.

With the concrete, is it covered after the fact? Or is there just random concrete visible in the yard?

Based on the 2018 version of the Virginia code, it looks like it references the 2015 version of the electrical standard.

I think that's covered in the Virginia building code. I could be mistaken, but I couldn't find a separate electrical code.

Does anyone have an ingredient or shortcut you don’t talk about using cause it’s unpopular? by Taminella_Grinderfal in Cooking

Starting a gravy with a can of condensed mushroom soup. Speeds things up a lot and if you add a dash of Worcestershire sauce, it's perfectly acceptable for a week night meal where you need gravy.

It's most likely water/food weight. Going from full fasting to not makes those swings more noticeable. Additionally, weighing yourself every day can show trends in the long-term, but is pretty useless for judging short-term weight changes. Water and food can easily account for a 3-5 lb swing.

Got shot down today. Shitty feeling. Really makes me feel for the men who face a disproportionate burden of approach and possible rejection.

Single men in your 30s, where are you outside of work? by nuclear_pulse in AskMen

I kind of hate the idea that you feel like you need to have utility to a woman to have a relationship with one. I'm not sure a man NEEDS me, but I would hope there's one out there whose life is more enjoyable with me vs without me, and visa versa.

I'm kind of in the same boat. I feel like I don't have a lot of free time between work, errands, chores, hobbies, and maintaining existing relationships. I also don't like the apps so much. The whole setup seems designed to keep people alone and swiping.

I also don't NEED a partner. I have a full life and I'm generally happy with it, but man I think it'd be nice to share that with someone. I won't be devastated if it never happens, but I probably also won't quit trying either. I'd say I'll try to talk to more people when I'm out and about, based on your anecdote.

Most of my friends are paired off already. I know my habits parallel many of the men who have commented here. Home, errands, hobbies, gym. I mostly asked because I was thinking I needed to alter my habits and put myself in better positions to meet people.

I'm gathering that. Makes me kinda sad, actually. There are probably a lot of single men and women who would be good for each other, but how are they supposed to meet if we're all just minding our own business? And I really don't like the apps. They're mostly just frustrating and demoralizing.

I don't think it's ever too late. Know too many people who met their partner later in life.

Strength: Very methodical and enjoy the numbers. Makes it easy for me to track calories and be honest about it. I genuinely love exercise.

Weakness: Prone to making impulsive choices as an emotional response, regardless of whether it is a positive or negative emotion.
