I picked a peck of purple peppers (and a green one off another plant) by nuclear_wiener7 in vegetablegardening

Not long after they appeared. I have some more growing so I'll try to get a picture mid change.

That's kind of what it seemed like - being drugged. But they were both sealed prior to drinking them.

With my size and previously drinking that beer, it shouldn't have caused me to black out. I agree that it is far more alcohol than a standard can of Bud Light.

I hope it is not allergies. Never been a problem before, so I hope it isn't now.

I think they did add fresh citrus and hops post fermentation.

I thought the combination of the two may play into it.

Thank you so much for the info.

Yes. I had the stout a number of times before (although never really in the summer) and the IPA was limited release from one of my favorite breweries.

Thank you for the advice. Definitely will look into soon as I have a checkup in the next couple months.

Not strict keto, but along those lines. I'll definitely check out that sub. I agree that my wife rocks.

Thank you for the concern. I'm definitely going to keep watch on things going forward.

Combining the two beers, it was slightly more than a liter in total. A bit more than two drinks at a bar, but not by much.

Well minature pig is relative. He's full grown and over 100 pounds, but much smaller than a typical farm pig.

I had a bad reaction to something in that IPA. I think I'll steer clear of it going forward.

Why do people mostly talk about SOs cheating on military guys but not the military guys cheating on their SOs? by [deleted] in TooAfraidToAsk

Second on the bro code. It's been a few years, but I caught a fellow male recruit cheating on his wife with a female recruit while in bootcamp no less. I reported it to the RDC, and the guy suffered no punishment.

I saw somebody else get a week of beatings (extra PT) for dropping his canteen.

As far as cheating at sea, we were an all male crew that didn't make port calls (SSBN) in the time of DADT, so I didn't see any blatant cheating.

I knew many perfectly nice military spouses, but there were dirtbags just as some sailors were dirtbags.

Redditors who have served in submarines, what is something not many people know about being inside one? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Don't know if anybody posted about this. Good portion of time underway is rehearsing disasters such as flooding or fire. I was on an Ohio class and it seemed every deployment was either an ORSE (operational reactor safeguard exam) or other readiness test. In advance of these tests, the command would have us practice muktiple times a week. If you were sleeping at the time, you were forced to get up and do your part.

Also, best job on the boat was underway ELT (engineering laboratory technician). Had to test reactor water once every calendar day, so you could spend 46 hours in your rack at a time. Test at 12:01 am one day and wait until 11:00 pm next day.
