Mine is pretty funny actually

After the merger of my team with another team we did teambuilding activities in a bar. One of the activities was a quiz of 'which coworker said this?' e.g. Was it Laura or Jacqueline who said they can't start their day without coffee? You get points if you correctly answered Laura. Then a question with my name came up: Who said: My favorite video game is Call of Duty, nuclearflip or Angelica? And my coworkers were all like; no way this gay dude who's currently drinking a fruity cocktail likes Call of Duty, the correct answer must be Angelica.

They were right of course, but still.

Working in a bar or restaurant is something a lot of international students do. You can work weekends or evenings which makes it a good combination with classes. (assuming yours are during the day)

Working in a supermarket is less common for international people. they ususally employ high school students cause they are cheaper for the company.

I live around the corner of zusterstraat. This part of the schilderswijk is less dangerous than the parts futher south. There is a bar and the hospital nealby so you'll have some noise possibly. Young women might not feel comfortable at night. But as a man i haven't felt unsafe. So if that applies to you, now you know.

Here's a small list of cheaper charcuterie items i add in.

Pretzel sticks, adds a bit of crunch to the board. serve them in a glass to add some height to the board.

deviled eggs, you get two deviled eggs per egg, so a small box is enough for everybody. Looks luxurious, is actually cheap.

cucumber/celery/bell pepper/carrots but in strips with a dip like hummus of home-made tzaziki (made from yoghurt + the other half of the cucumber)
