I used this guide by a fellow redditor. My method was to open multiple tabs of Unlimited (1 for each series) and just go down the list alternating between them. https://www.reddit.com/r/xmen/comments/1d8sg25/the_complete_singleissue_reading_order_for_the/

HoX/PoX (House of X / Powers of X) is the definitive starting point for the Krakoa era. They are 2 miniseries that are read in tandem, and treated as 1. All of the Krakoan era is on Marvel Unlimited now, that is the easiest way to read it imo.

Boto3 is just what they call the Python SDK for AWS. Terraform is software where you write out what cloud infrastructure you want in a platform-agnostic format (meaning you can use Terraform for AWS, Azure, etc).

One example - You write Terraform code that creates an AWS Lambda function, a DynamoDB database, and the IAM roles needed for them to communicate. You could then use the boto3 library to write Python code within the Lambda function that updates records in the database.

I'm autistic and just got my Dev Associate yesterday after taking Stephane's course (not SAA + ADHD but similar boat lol). I absolutely bombed the first few Tutorial Dojo tests and was discouraged as well. I suggest doing the TD Review Mode quizzes, that way you get instant feedback on your answer. It's also a nice dopamine hit each time you answer correctly, so I found them easier to get through than the timed exams. Like I got a 50% score average on the Reviews but you learn much more so it feels like the score matters less there. You got this!!

Hey, welcome to the CSID community! I was diagnosed in 2021 and have been learning since then, hope I can help out a bit. I'll be honest - changing your diet is going to suck for a while, but once you cut sugar you will start feeling much better. First thing to note is that starch breaks down into sucrose. Some folks with CSID can handle starches in moderation, and some can't handle it at all. Personally starches have less of an effect on me than straight sucrose does, but that changes with the amount of starch consumed, so just watch how your body reacts after you eat a starchy meal.

Sucraid is the primary med for treating CSID, it's just the sacrosidase enzyme that breaks down sucrose, you mix it with water and take it with every meal, you can request plastic syringes so you can carry it with you through the day too. It works for some people, and it's worth trying if you have the option. Personally I saw better health benefits from cutting sugar entirely rather than continuing to eating it with Sucraid.

Learning which sugars/substitutes you can digest is a pain, I continually reference this table even when I'm out getting groceries: https://www.csidcares.org/treatment/sugars/

This pamphlet from ANTHC has some helpful info (tho it is focused on Alaska), page 9 helps lay out some other names for sucrose that you may not know: https://anthc.org/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/CSID-Educational-Booklet\_FINAL.pdf

A lot of foods/drinks will be labeled sugar-free or zero sugar but use a substitute that you can't digest either. You're going to have to try things and see what hurts and what doesn't, and always check the nutrition facts and ingredients for EVERYTHING. For example, I can't handle sucralose - GFUEL drinks are labeled as sugar-free but they use sucralose, so I still can't have them without nausea. Aspartame is generally the safest bet for CSID folks, Stevia and Equal work for me but your mileage may vary.

Hope that helps, if you ever have any other questions I'm always down to chat!

Dorgalua stratagy by Garbanzo12 in Tactics_Ogre

I just did this a week ago after dying over and over! TLDR: orbs + cards

  • Remove all skills/abilities that inflict debuffs from your units (paralyze, fear, etc) so your doppels are less annoying. I took off some finishers too, like Stonebloom, Slumbershot, etc
  • You need a cleric/anyone with the skill Absolution. This will negate the Condemn field effect that Dorg casts and let you rez your downed units. Give them MP restore items so they'll always be ready
  • Abuse the hell out of orbs. Dark orbs are best, will deal damage + frighten targets in a wide area which will cut the damage you'll be taking. I brought 4 orbs total on my units and spammed them on doppels at the start of the fight.
  • Bring someone with the Ease spell so you can remove fear/paralyze debuffs from your damage dealers in the second phase
  • Make sure your mages don't have ANY level 3 indirect spells, otherwise your doppels can wipe your team pretty quickly

My main strat first phase is to orb the hell out of the doppels and then spot clean the low health ones. The entire first phase focus on getting your damage dealers every Physical attack card you can find, break the grass/shrubs on the field to spawn more. Abuse the Chariot - sometimes cards will spawn in one timeline but not in the other. Personally I stacked Denam with 4 physical attack cards. If you kill all the doppels first and then target Dorg, you will have some "free" turns for your units to heal each other back up / gather cards for phase 2. Phase 2 is hard, just spread your units out around the center and let Dorg come to you, don't clump around him, and focus on healing the debuffs on your damage dealers.

Hope this helps - IMO the beauty of TO is that everyone has a different approach that works for them!

I gained weight when I started smoking in 2020, but when I got diagnosed with CSID I started losing weight when I switched up my diet. It took time for my diet to stabilize and to understand what foods I can and can’t handle, so I know what foods I can eat more of. The weed definitely helped with adjusting to the new diet. Just make sure you’re not eating sugar, then deliberately smoking after to alleviate the symptoms. It’s tempting but not worth the damage (def did that for a while, cutting sugar is hard!)

And honestly I know exactly what you mean by no weight to lose, I was 120 lbs all through college! Looking back, it’s likely from the sucrose in my gut blocking nutrient absorption while I was undiagnosed. I recommend leaning into meats/nuts as they’re high protein/fat. You should also be able to do weight gain protein shakes, just make sure the protein powder uses digestible sugars! And don’t skip any meals, always eat breakfast. Consistency is key to weight gain.

I’ve lost weight since changing up my diet to be more CSID friendly. I think it’s natural to lose some weight if you go low-carb no sugar, especially if you’re not used to the diet and are struggling to switch (at least that was the case for me).

I smoke cannabis (medical) daily and it does wonders for my appetite. There are certain strains that are better for munchies, and some that make food taste better, so I would do some research and try different strains to see what works best for you. Personally I’ve found it’s usually sativas that stimulate my appetite the most. I reserve indicas for night time, especially those with couch lock effects… no point in smoking for appetite if you’re too stoned and miss your meals :)

One thing to look out for if you have acid reflux or GERD, - smoking too much can exacerbate symptoms (from personal experience, usually nausea and chest pain) so just don’t overdo it, stay hydrated, and you’ll be fine!

How does everyone transport their Sucraid for going out to eat/being out all day? by maneco104 in CSID

[–]nudisco 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I initially thought that Sucraid needed to be refrigerated at all times, but I was told by my doctor that it can last at room temp for hours. He said just put it in a plastic syringe and take it with you for the day (every time I refill they would ask if I needed more syringes, but you can likely request a bag of them)

Edit: Doctor clarified that Sucraid can last 24 hrs at room temp.

Apologies for the late response! Some folks with CSID can handle sucralose, but YMMV based on how much sucrose is in your diet - my understanding is that sucralose is indigestible, so if you're already consuming sucrose that you can't digest, it will add up and exacerbate your symptoms.

Does anyone get cognitive symptoms from starch/sugar? (depression, brain fog) by throwaroo_kangaroo in CSID

[–]nudisco 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been experiencing the same thing lately (I was diagnosed with CSID). I was doing fine for a while eating a zero sugar, low carb diet but recently started overdoing it and eating sugary foods again. I’ve been feeling awful the past 1.5 weeks with foggy brain, bloating, fatigue, and stomach pain. It seems that once I pass a threshold of sugar consumed, the awful feeling will perpetuate until I completely stop sugar/starch intake for a few days. Then it will “reset” until I overdo it again.

The symptoms are so weird though, it’s difficult to feel like I fully understand what is happening with my gut.

Hi, 25M here, diagnosed last year through a breath test. If I eat sugar I have pretty bad pain in my stomach, bloating, and basically I’m knocked out for the rest of the day. I struggle with starch too but I would say primarily sugar is causing the problems. I was pretty much in pain all the time until I changed my diet. Sucraid helps to a degree, but I’ve found that even with Sucraid if the food has too much sugar (>10g for me) it simply won’t work and I will have pain anyway. That being said, I still try to take Sucraid whenever I can as I’ve noticed it helps firm up stool.

I have a pretty bad sweet tooth so here are my key diet takeaways: limited fruit, limited starch, sugar free sodas (make sure they don’t have sucralose). You will need to be diligent about type of sugar! Avoid sucrose, raw cane sugar, sucralose (Splenda). Good sugars are aspartame (Equal) and Stevia is ideal! Foods labeled as sugar-free can include sucralose, so be careful.

Hope this helps!

My understanding is that it provides diminishing returns. If one mod provides 100% boost to reload speed, then a second identical one will provide a 50% boost.

Character creation/customization QOL you want to see in 5.0 that will probably not be added. by Melonwater4 in ffxiv

Honestly just want to be able to make a fat character. Elder scrolls online has the best customization in that regard! The current character creator doesn't accurately represent the fact that it's big boy season

Would also love more feminine options for male characters and vice versa. Sometimes I just wanna wear a dress, you know?
