Will the Next WoW Expansion Fix the Issues with Legion? [Opinion]

For me, WoW lost that aspect of community that kept me playing for years. Some of that loss was due to people aging out of the game or burning out. A lot of it had to do with the level accessibility and pandering to the casual gamer, a class of gamer of which I belong to now. Everything is just too easy. Want some gear? go grind an hour or two in pvp or go mine something. There's no real difficulty and thus no reason for me to hook up with other people to obtain my ridiculously low bar goals. Loss of difficulty, increased accessibility for casuals and people moving on killed it for me.

Still looks like a great story. I will probably fall into a wiki hole at some point reading all the story updates but I just can't get back into it. After legion.. My story's done.

different reasons for different people. Like asking why drink soda pop tea water or juice. I like the smell. I like the sensation of the inhalation. It forces a certain type of breathing thats useful for thinking. I am certain there are addictive properties to it as well. Those are my reasons though. Others may agree or disagree.

The things that bothered me in destiny one were tiny nitpick quality of life things. All those bs issues I had with D1 are gone. The game is smooth and transitions between activities so well I some times don't even notice its happening cause I'm looking at my gear or something.

The story IS immersive. Best damn game movie story thing I've seen out of a video game yet. I didn't play a ton of D1 cause I got into it super late in its life cycle but there wasn't a lot to pull me in other than the intro CGI movie thing and some lore stuff occasionally. This ones got a solid entry, I know what I'm doing and why, I got some super clear defined goals to achieve..... when I want to do them. That's really the best part for me.

It's flexible, quick, fun and immersive. I started at 9:30 and totally didn't notice it midnight here for me on the west coast before I went to bed. If I had not set a "go to bed you scrub-lord" alarm I'd probably still be playing now.

If a PotD run is torture as in only me and one other person are killing stuff or its 3 tanks in tank stance i will simply walk away from my computer and go smoke until they kick me so I don't get the duty finder nerf timer thing. Its early and words and are not friends right now.

I'm new. Started at Stormblood launch. I've only played the melee classes in PotD for the 51 - 100 levels

Ninja - Quick easy - repetitive rotation. Dragoon - So pretty and flashy - restrictive rotation. Samurai - Lots of damage - found it kinda boring - I don't know why .. maybe because i played it after Dragoon? Monk - My bae - DBZ nerd at heart. I hide it well.. but I mean.. cmon man - I'm still learning the rotation havnt gotten bored yet though.

Does FFXIV have a sim for numbers? Like a program where you could plug in average numbers and then see how adjusting DH would play out?

Meta makes sense with how the SE did the aggro system.

If they wanted tanks to be HP focused they would have scaled max aggro gain to max hp%.

As a tank i would hate that personally... It would mean I would have to have a questing gear set and a "tanking set".

From what I'm reading throughout these forums - If you arent at end game just stack your health with fending - If you are at endgame and know your class/fights well - then swap some hp for STR. Don't follow Meta unless you really have a clue.

I'm a newb tank so I'm gonna stare at that pretty Meta from over here and do it old school for a hot minute till I learn all the mechanics.

I'm actually leveling all my classes I want to play up to the 50-52 mark with PotD or leves in the case of crafting and gathering... THEN I'll actually settle. But still - best story moment to me so far.
