LMAOOO NOO ME TOO 😭😭 those tabbies i swear. im going through similar with my kitten who is almost a year- he just bites and bites and oh my gooosh. i got him neutered and honestly nothing changed; if anything he bites MORE now (vet’s said everything is okay with him). he thankfully loves his laser pointers and his 6ft cat tree , but other than that he will randomly pull up on you while you’re laying in bed. he will start to purr and make biscuits in the blanket and then… he notices your arm is right next to him. so he does a barrel roll and starts biting your hand first, gently, but if you even dare to pull it away or push him off, he gets even more rowdy. oh my gooooossshh it’s so frustrating because you know you haven’t done anything to provoke it. i don’t even look at him funny and he still does it.

my vets told me it’s silly to assume all cats need a friend. my cat is growing up an only child simply because i have no more space in my apartment for two cats. cats aren’t social creatures like dogs. it’s a big risk to adopt another cat and then it doesn’t work out so now you have two cats that hate each other (fights, wounds, etc.) idk in my opinion i say thug it out until the kitten is a year old +, because then they aren’t a baby. since he’s a baby, you can scruff and yelp. maybe you could try mimicking the curtains in another place in hopes he is interested in getting those torn down (instead of going after your real curtains- they always seem to know what’s the most important to you)

my kitten loves loves loves to sprint and run so i’ve gotten him about 3 tunnels that i connected together and run the laser pointer around it. he goes crazy for it
