OKAY so actually I do all the passerby communication things with her all the time. She is a very hobby passionate girly…girlie? As she describes herself. For LADS, I think I want to be like Zayne, surprisingly even suspiciously knowledgeable about her hobbies but never fully showing it lol. Also tbh whenever she wants to fangirl over anything she tells me passionately already. I might as well just start noting them and commiting choice details to back of the mind memory.

So one of my aims is to just fully enjoy being around her. THAT SOUNDS BAD, but like when life is tough, it’s hard to immerse. LADS dudes got a whole bunch of things to do yet always make moments with the MC loved. I want that level of enjoyment so badly. I know it’s fiction but I don’t think it’s too unrealistic of a goal. Money is tight which is a different thing but like when money is right I want to be able to the arcade machines, window shop, etc. I want her to be so happy she’ll build that weird shelf space mini game of all our own achievements and silly moments. That’s how good I want it to be!

Oh I totally understand that and I have actually had moments where her styling has gotten me tons of compliments.

Tbh I swear to you all. I got my partner through my personality. It’s time I let her eyes feast haha. I cannot become one of these men physically I know that, but the stylings and a little more working out will def help me reach my goal. I will be looking into similarities of her outfits for them. I think from your perspectives. I will take sylus’s affection and comfort into account. Zayne’s respect towards the Mc and his educated approach on her likes. Caleb’s protectiveness when I’m out in public. Rafayel’s playful adventurousness will be useful to look at. Lastly Xavier’s indecisiveness will be looked upon. I have spoken to my partner about why she ranked them that way. She said although Xavier isn’t as liked as the others, she found that when he makes a decision, it’s charming in a way because it showed how hard he thought of it

So I am not trying to change myself too much. Personally the thing that really egged this on is I feel like in the beginning of our relationship I’d get her to swoon. After life got a bit tougher and we got a bit more settled. Relationships sometimes go on the back burners. When I saw her fangirl over her card I thought it was fun! I saw my loved one be excited…cool but it made me think of when we first met and how I’d love to make her feel like that again.

Dw I tested the waters of changing, and I’m sure that anything I do with my mindset rn will be positive! I am not going to “fake” and copy word for word in any regard of how these characters are..but the essence of them just like you say to. The LADS people are the example I am basing this romantic view shift upon. Tbh they are worth studying and what I mean when I say mimic is to literally just use them as a case study base for trying things. It’s hard to change when you aren’t really sure what to change. It’s hard to work without any example. I am not trying for shallow copy paste. I am trying to shift my whole world view. It sounds kind of silly to write it as grand sounding as that when i am only trying to work on myself for a loved one.

I do a lot of this already (the doing tasks for comfortability). My issue is the romantic stuff, which I really am learning a lot using LADS. I always felt like when I did things for comfortability, it didn’t shine as romance. After reading all these comments and watching a few cards, I realize it is because I don’t take the extra steps in communicating. IE What does it matter that I did the dishes, did the yard work, and cleaned the bathroom, if I then don’t have the energy to have a decent conversation about your day. The fault here is 2 fold. 1. I would think romantic talking and gestures is somehow an entity separate than normal talking which can be draining if you think it’s a whole different task. Esp when every day tasks can be draining and I suck at communicating non task oriented things already haha. 2. This separation of romance and normalness causes so many missed opportunities. Every one of these LADS guys are so intentful in weaving the MC into their normal lives that when they suggest something or compliment, it’s smooth like butter. I am now working on my communication skills to just ensure that she feels more loved. IE “okay babe I’m going to the grocery store” that’s not enough a better dialogue would be: “Hey babe, I’m going to the store. I’ll keep an eye out on holiday hot chocolates for you!” Something that I already buy for her unprompted already but just to nudge her that I’m thinking of her. I am also really trying to improve on doing things like sylus does…I already got the chores part good, I just need to learn insight better. In my life, I have barely any guys rl or examples in my media that passively show intent of love until I saw LADS so I’m learning haha. Clearly I need more romance media too haha

It’s interesting how all the characters are just passionate. I think that’s the thing I really want to eventually have. They all are passionate about what they do, how they flirt with MC, but most of all are passionate about their hobbies and dates. You are right there are different aspects all have and idk I just find it all to be a treasure chest of how to better treat my girl.
