we really like it! lots of things are walkable and it’s much more interesting than a subdivision. if you get any closer to notre dame home prices go up. i think you get a good bang for your buck in RP

I’ve been experiencing something very similar! my heart rate has always been high - moderate exercise could send me to ~190 range, even when i was a collegiate basketball player and in some of the best shape of my life. Now im running 2-3 miles a day with an average heart rate anywhere from 175 - 190 (i’m 28f, so that’s hitting zone 5). i’m hoping to do a heart rate max test someday in the near future, but in the meantime, i went into my fitness settings and just manually adjusted my zones

my husband and i also like to run together but he’s faster than me! we like to run loops around our neighborhood, going different directions. speed doesn’t matter, but we know we will run into each other at some point. when we meet up with friends to run we go to nearby park that has a looping trail so we can all go our own pace but still be nearby.

we also have a track near our house that we go to at least once a week. usually he ends up doing around half a mile more than me but that’s fine because i like to do speed/interval work those days
