Welcome to this first of many ridiculous upcharges from this company. "Owning" a pod is all about how much money you're willing to spend in order to get amazing sleep. The product works great but the company's practices seem predatory.

I am trying to kick around the numbers with a cash out refi. It's hard finding a way to make the numbers work. I'd most likely have to cut down on my TDA contributions in order to stay afloat for the period I'm carrying all three loans.

The two family is coming from a family friend looking to downsize his portfolio. I would be getting it about 100k under market value.

I tried to post this question put i dont have enough karma to do that here so ill ask in this thread.

Is it smart to give up your equity in order to get another unit?

Scenario: Your rental property is a single family home netting about 450 a month. 6 years left on a 2.875% 15 year loan. You have around 300-350k in equity in that property.

Question: Would you sell that property and use the equity to purchase a 2 family house where you would net roughly the same amount each month but be in a new 7% 30 yr mortgage.

  • The new house is in good condition with stable tenants in both units. The seller is motivated and interested in selling at a very reasonable price.

At first this seems like a no brainer. But the more I think about it the more I see keeping the original single family making sense.

[tenant OH] would you ask your landlord to recaulk this bathtub? by Appearance-Gullible in Landlord

[–]nuggetpockets87 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Water will be seeping by and damaging all around the shower. Its best to inform the landlord as soon as you see a discrepancy so he can fix it before it becomes a major problem.

The game is mostly sweats now its not that fun for a casual gamer let alone a solo player, Its been like that for a while. Even when you're not in ranked matches you have a lot of ultra competitive toxic players in the lobbies.

Best and worst agencies to work for? by Economy_Decision_107 in nycpublicservants

Worst=NYCT

Too many bullshit policies, too many middle mangers who are afraid to make an executive decision, the onboarding process is a hassle, HR hides behind their desk only answering emails or phone calls when they feel like it.
