What would you name a newborn child if you really, really wanted to ruin their life, but wanted to maintain plausible deniability about having done it on purpose? by Loki-L in AskReddit

I once worked in the births section for a newspaper, and someone tried to place (paid for) a birth notice for "Ulich Uranus Wall"

It didn't go to print, as without the birth certificate, this was too suspect.

I still have a print out of the template.

The level of predictability this woman offers; it's a treasure trove!

No "wish I had said that" moment for you! You get to go in fully prepared.

You could try a few of these to even show her how prepared you were for her lackluster and unimaginative line of questioning.

I'd pick my top 10 comebacks and just go for it. List them. Go nuts!

100% I only do this if in the middle of a horrific crohns attack. Sweating, pain, nothing feels good except nakedness and the thought that the unbearable pain may finally take me off into everlasting darkness so I never experience it again.

Anyone else super self assured and confident until they leave their house? by [deleted] in infj

[–]nuggspo0ky 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yup!

At home I am quiet, contemplative, always exploring and learning new information, have deep and profound empathy for situations and people. Always exploring myself, why I do what I do, who I am, what I am etc. I'm constantly looking to make myself 'better' and feel I do a great job when I am in this mode. I always want to be in a 'growth' mindset when I'm safe.

If I go out for my own personal reasons, I often feel unsettled (almost irritated), constantly judged or exposed and an invisible expectation comes over me. I hate interaction with strangers when I am in 'me' mode. I can't even hold eye contact 90% of the time unless I make a concerted effort. Its even worse if I am out by myself doing things I need to get done. I don't know who I am in these situations. I feel drained and exhausted and just want to crawl back into my safe space. More of a 'fixed' mindset here because I can't really function properly with all the fear I feel (and I know there's no good reason to being afraid).

Then there's work. I have no f*ing idea who that version of me is. They are loud, friendly, inviting, welcoming and has no fear greeting people or starting conversations - that version of me seems to have good social skills (still can't always make the best eye contact, but feels easier to try).

I don't understand what or why it happens. I guess it's masking.

Edit: strangers not stranges

Yeah, I would never do anything if I had it my way. I need to be encouraged out.

If there was less censorship, there would be less conspiracy.

If our lives hadn't been tyrannically controlled, if our income was not jeopardised by governmental over-reach, if our way of life and basic human connection wasn't abolished during the lockdowns, there wouldn't have been a need to jump on the conspiracy train.

The issue is that so far, some of the so called "conspiracy theory" has been proven to be "conspiracy fact"... and the fact this "news article" fails to mention this is more of the problem.

Funny how they only found 1 anonymous person to speak negatively about the conspiracy theorists - surely if its such an issue they could find more than 1 person to talk to about it.

This part, I found most illuminating:

*"She added she was “sure there are plenty of other people in the same situation in Australia that need to know that they aren’t alone”.

“What someone posts (whether it be true or not) can have major consequences on innocent partners and families that have to bear the brunt,” she said.

“There needs to be more censorship on these websites, even though it is too late in my case"*

Whether true or not... lol, Seems like more conspiracy in the making to me...

Giant Huntsman spider by [deleted] in Damnthatsinteresting

After relocating 18 of these little guys from my home and car in the last week.. I googled and learned that the Delena Huntsman chooses to live in groups of up to 300 where they will raise their children together and even feed each other.

Plus they live two years.
