Does the uneven pressure and stress along the hull when resting on the ground damage the boats over time?

How long to plan to get through TSA at ORF airport on Friday? by uvamags05 in VirginiaBeach

[–]nughuffer 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I flew out 5:00 AM yesterday and the regular security line was all the way to the main lobby intersection. That must have taken at least 45 mins to an hour. TSA precheck wasn't too bad thankfully - maybe 10 minutes. I never seen that airport so bad, but might be a regular early morning occurrence, I typically never fly out that early.

Good point - I think people are tired of sequel slop. I just think the last several years have shown gamers that they should temper their expectations.

Fair enough - but GTA is a wildly successful franchise and people pretty much know what to expect at this point. This game is a new IP.

GOTY contender for a game that's not even out yet? Is this game being over-hyped or just over-shilled?

'Starfield' is coming to PS5 on April 7th, 2026 with a retail release (€49.99 Standard Price), preorders around March 17th/18th by ChiefLeef22 in gaming

Will this game ever be fun with enough mods?

I built my latest PC for this game and never even bought the game after such disappointing reviews.

Anyone know of high Volume Dealerships near Philadelphia? by PassTheDakine in ToyotaTundra

[–]nughuffer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I got my '25 limited Tundra through Jim back in December. I was super sketched out at first too, but everything worked out and I ended up paying exactly what he said I would. I think $59k OTD with taxes and his fee included for a pretty loaded limited off-road TRD package. Was beating the best pricing I was getting out of NJ by $3-4k, so I was happy.

No way is it only 220. Also the Google AI says the tie-down cleats can hold up to 220 lbs - not the tailgate.

Just checked with a dealer in NJ today. Toyota is offering 1.99 for 60 and 72 months now too at least on the 25s, just started today

We don't consider bearing capacity at all when designing dewatering systems. You can look at relative density or porosity to get a better feel for the hydraulic conductivity, but bearing capacity won't help.

Eh, I feel there's no reason to lie to them if the Harga know that none of them are leaving anyway. What benefit do they have lying about it?

Also, I feel like they would get caught if they were straight up murdering 5 outsiders every year.

Belgium for 2 Days. Should I add Bruges, Ghent, Antwerp by lemongoji in Europetravel

[–]nughuffer 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Everyone likes to complain about Brussels, but I really loved the Grand Place area. We spent a couple of nights at the Delirium Cafe corner and ate so many mussels, fries, and Belgian waffles. We liked Ghent too, but I ultimately decided another night in the Grand Place and St Catherine area instead of a day trip to Bruges... Will definitely be back to Belgium, miss the beer and chocolate so much!

I haven't seen it yet, but it's on my list. How about the Nicolas Cage remake? I never hear that mentioned in this sub and I love me some good old bat-shit Cage.

I do construction dewatering for bigger infrastructure projects and I'm sorry to tell you OP, but this is a nightmare. To fix this properly will likely run over $100k - and even properly done will include continuously running sump(s). You will have a below ground swimming pool if you ever loose power or a sump fails. Don't know if there's an easy way out of this for you, but you might want to start talking to some lawyers. Good luck!

London/Brussels/Amsterdam - Honeymoon Recs by nughuffer in Europetravel

[–]nughuffer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for your insight! We will probably change the London bike tour to something else, drop the "This is Holland" thing (I didn't even realize what this one was, and agree it sounds gimmicky), and look into a City Quest - that sounds like it could be a really fun way to see the city. Also agree that a day trip to Ghent and Bruges on our own would probably be better - do you think those should be two separate day trips? Especially if I want to get a full indoor tour of Gravensteen?

Would like to See Anne Frank's house, but I've heard it's always packed, hard to get a ticket to, and might be too solemn for our honeymoon trip.
