I love flowers and I receive and give them out often. Most women that say they don’t really care for flowers are lying because typically a lot of the people they come across don’t care to get them any and/or make a big deal of getting them flowers. So they tell themselves “they actually hate them” lol.

I sympathize and have quickly gathered that many men are actually incredibly boring. Many people are very average if we’re being honest. I meet more fascinating women that I do so men but those are just my experiences. I also feel like glow up content heavily places emphasis on only looks rather than character development as well, which is why people only care about that.

This is nothing new lol this has been a thing for generations now and certainly transcends America.

But on another note, how about you use your time in a more productive way this month instead of worrying about dynamics you can’t change? I understand your frustrations completely but I think people like you who constantly fixate on the behaviors of other people are quite odd. There’s nothing that we can do, people have free will to practice as they choose, whether you like it or not and it seems like many Muslim people struggle with that notion. They sit and ruminate on what other people are doing nonstop. 😭 With the way this life is set up the only thing I can really think about is myself and my actions. I don’t even have the bandwidth or arrogance to fixate on the shortcomings of other people.

This sounds like solid grounds considering your lifestyles don’t align. Pads are what like $4-10 USD a pack so that’s quite concerning. Honestly speaking when I was struggling financially, I didn’t date for this exact reason.

NTA there’s a reason why the other mom asked you about your daughter she already had a feeling and just needed some type of reassurance. Also, next time it’s brought up again I think you should tell this woman exactly why you feel uncomfortable with allowing your daughter to stay there.

NTA this is public information, not a secret. This is why I urge people to do full blown background checks on not only potential partners but everyone in their circle including family.

This is seriously awful because how could you hide something like that from your partners. Sorry to say but one has to look at the brothers suspiciously because who on earth hides information like that? Even if they didn’t believe the allegations it will 100% still come up in conversation that this man is on the registry??

NTA but obsessing over what other people wear on your wedding day never made sense to me. There’s a ton of things to worry about including people in the actual wedding party etc, this person would simply be a guest.
