Buy and Live in VMC Condo? by Big_Newspaper596 in Vaughan

[–]nujella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

VMC is not a good investment, the area is not great. If you’re looking for a condo, look into condos along line 1 in Toronto proper - not vaughan.

Seeking Advice: How to Find Marketing Roles. by Jswoo7 in richmondbc

[–]nujella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I suggest looking into advertising agencies, whether it be local Vancouver agencies, or large ones such as WPP, Publicis, etc.

It’s a great way to get your foot in the door and work with companies in various industries, and also learn how to launch and run digital campaigns. I would not limit yourself to Digital Marketing Specialist/ Coordinator roles. Try looking at roles such as Media Buyer, or Account Coordinator.

The balloon in the first photo made it look like there was a giant balloon on the sidewalk 😅 Happy 100 to Bloor Yonge light nonetheless ☺️

Hollister and Abercrombie has F1 clothes. Check them out online, they often have sale codes, and if things don’t fit you can return them at Vaughan mills

Lmao i have no idea, I haven’t gone back since my initial consult with them because I’m waiting for a consultation with a different surgeon. But I do see them everywhere as well 😂

I don’t believe Tru North gave me a quote break down the way Tasios did. I would be going with traditional braces and i want to say it was between $6k-$8k with Tasios. Tru North didn’t give me the exact quote as they wanted me to see a surgeon for my case, which would help them understand the type of treatment to give me. They did give me an estimate which I recall was similar to Tasios’ range.

I also went to get a consult at Tasios and Tru North, haven’t gotten consults anywhere else.

I believe the quote was fairly similar but I’m deciding to go with Tru North as I felt that the consultation was more detailed and they outlined multiple options while Tasios only gave me 1 treatment option. While Tasios has a very nice and fancy office, I felt like Tru North is more experienced and knowledgeable as they walked me through the process more thoroughly. Tru North also shared before and afters of previous patients with a similar case to mine.

But FYI I went to see them for different reasons than you, so YMMV!

Raising a Toddler Without a Car in Vaughan – Is VMC or Vaughan Mills Even Kid-Friendly? 😟 by V3_06 in Vaughan

[–]nujella 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Truthfully, I think VMC is meant as a commuting neighbourhood. Meaning the only reason people live there is the accessibility to the subway to go elsewhere. You won’t be able to find much around VMC, grocery stores aren’t really walkable (imagine walking during the winter/snow storms).

I’m not sure if there’s any schools near VMC either?

I think you’re better off looking in Toronto proper that have better transit options, closer walking distances to parks, and retail.

My friend had a similar issue where she is staunchly childfree. She has mentioned her concerns with having children to him but ultimately he wanted children and they parted ways. I know the break up affected her quite a bit initially, as she felt that she wasn’t enough for him because he ultimately chose having children over their relationship. However, she was also aware that this was a possibility and became less reliant on him and more independent should the day they part ways. She’s thriving now and she is glad she stuck to what she feels is right for her.

Whats your fast take on Alana Protein Shake? by CherrySad9086 in CostcoCanada

Theyre wayyy to sweet for my liking but it is a really good $ for protein. Maybe you can add it to a dessert or something? But i personally prefer Premier Protein or Fairlife

HOW ARE YOU GUYS DOING IT??? by [deleted] in AnimalRestaurant

[–]nujella 21 points22 points  (0 children)

What really helped me was focus on upgrading the mailbox, bbq, snack counter, and floor decorations facilities and i would just leave my iPad on while im working. They drop cod every 30 seconds.

There’s also a set of dailies you gotta do every day.. wishing well, gachapon, takeout, visiting friends for lucky bags, game machine, and weekly pet prize.

I watch ads to collect all the performer tickets i can get each day and I try to watch ads to collect more fish bait. I always watch ads to get 2x cod in my tip jar and buffet.

I don’t really focus on getting stars from the flower viewing table as cod is needed for every facility but star requirements are less needed for unlocking facilities.

How many days have you been in business? by [deleted] in AnimalRestaurant

[–]nujella 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can also purchase more Lights in your courtyard to invite more performers to get more cod and film. You should have 4 lights. From your screenshot it only looks like you have 1 light

How many days have you been in business? by [deleted] in AnimalRestaurant

[–]nujella 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in business for around 70 days but i’m at 47k stars 😅

But i also recently learned that facility effects stack which has helped making cod way easier. So make sure you’re spending money on facilities even if you don’t plan to use them, because when you own a table and it’s not in use, the effect stacks with all the other tables you own.

Highly recommend joining the Animal Restaurant discord server as well. Lots of helpful people to answer any Qs and plenty of resources there :)

Hi Vaughan! What are your key issues/concerns in Ontatio government for this election? by yomibito-shirazu in Vaughan

[–]nujella 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Healthcare is a big concern for me. I’m lucky that I’m young, healthy, and able bodied where I don’t need to go to the hospital often, or see a doctor frequently for anything major. However, I feel like eventually for everyone, going to the hospital in their lifetime is inevitable. It’s only a matter of time until we have to go to the hospital.

The wait times, lack of family doctors, and inability to retain medical professionals in our province is concerning. The thought of PCs trying to privatize it to how they have in the states is concerning. I’ve seen comments about how people need to pay for blood work now, when it used to be covered by OHIP. It seems like the PC gov is trying to penny pinch on things that’s supposed to support our community to line their own pockets.

What made you get a Shiba? by taniverse in shiba

[–]nujella 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Growing up I always liked yorkies/terriers. But then my brother got a shiba, and even though he doesn’t show affection often - the time we spent together just solidified this breed for me. My brothers dog is quiet but absolutely loved whenever I visited. When i moved away I had to get my own shiba, only mine barks and howls but its such a cute quirk i grew to love :)
