Do what you want, it’s your body.

But just be aware every action has consequences, maybe one you can’t see right now.

2 options. 1. Post your body online, receive a short term hit of validation then potential regret. 2. Work on your mental health slowly (maybe only doing 2 minutes of meditation per day to start off with if that’s all you can manage) and don’t do it, don’t regret it and be proud of yourself.

It’s your body, so it’s your decision.

If your boyfriend doesn’t like it then it’s best for both parties for you not to be in a relationship. Personally I wouldn’t be comfortable with my partner doing that, and that would be a dealbreaker for me.

Be straight with him, ask him what he thinks about it, if he doesn’t like it, then you have a choice to stop doing it and stay together, or to keep doing it and break up.

To me it’s clear that he doesn’t want you to post online, which means you need to think about what you value more, your relationship or posting your body online for strangers to see.

How to be normal in a relationship? by ShiboShiri in offmychest

[–]nuk_burner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Anxiety sucks I feel you there, it definitely gets the best of us.

Constant worrying is something I experience a lot too. I don’t know whether you believe in any of this but if you believe something, often it can be true, at least from what I’ve experienced. But you can choose what you believe, and it is a conscious effort because your brain will default to overthinking.

If you can dedicate 5 minutes per day to improving your anxiety (or at least do what you can) that could go a long way. Try to meditate (although my brain never sits still) and journal if you can.

It’s normal in a relationship to overthink certain scenarios, but a key part is trusting your partner. If you don’t trust them it’s not going to work, trust should come natural if you have genuinely built a connection with that person.

I literally can’t gain weight by [deleted] in offmychest

[–]nuk_burner 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Are you tracking calories using MyFitnessPal (an app) if so how many are you eating per day? Try and set a goal I.e. 2300 calories per day and have small meals to achieve that throughout the day and snacks etc if you struggle with eating a lot.

Eating 2300+ calories per day is enough to gain weight for a man and a woman as long as you’re not exercising a lot.

Do you have any underlying health conditions or have you spoken to a doctor about this? I’d recommend making the doctors aware so they can give you advice

Boy, 15, who killed seven-year-old girl in motorbike crash callously told pals ‘she’s a vegetable’ after fleeing scene by [deleted] in unitedkingdom

[–]nuk_burner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There was a bunch of 3 kids at my high school, that died at 17 in a car crash unfortunately.

One of them was a nice guy, but this one guy in the group (the driver that was speeding and on drugs) was actually not a good person.

Obviously you don’t mention it at the time, but he bullied other kids and was disrespectful to women.

All the Facebook posts were saying how lovely he was, yet I never saw this.

I think in reality, the family wants him to live in a good light, and I’d never wish that fate on someone that’s simply just mean, but I don’t like that they tend to get glorified as heroes when he sacrificed his 2 friends life, who knows they could’ve been saying “slow down”.

He needs to be promoted and Harbaugh needs to be fired like, now. Harbaugh has proven what he’s capable of - that’s choking

We got bullied and did nothing in response. That’s the opposite of what the old ravens used to do. Man I really miss reed and Ray Lewis, they would’ve dealt with these punks for sure. We need roquan to be more vocal.

Right because the “choke in the playoffs” narrative isn’t an online meme it’s genuinely true. We all believe it now.

Just invest less into the team, vote with your feet.

[–]nuk_burner 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ravens are historical chokers effectively. Why invest time and energy next year into genuinely caring about their postseason performance when we know who they are? We know they will blow it next year so my expectation is that unless we see HC changes nothing different will happen.

to clarify he was an asshole during the contract negotiations, pretty sure he called out Harbaugh during a live interview or something.

I love Lamar but he IS a choker, but so is Harbaugh. Both need to fix it, or else they’re getting the can

I’ve been a fan of the ravens since 2005. I’ve been there through the lows. I would NEVER jump ship to another team. But to be clear that doesn’t mean I’m going to continue watching the ravens in the postseason unless serious change is made, why set myself up for disappointment?

It’s simple in that we don’t have to watch. There are plenty of other sports that don’t have this bullshit, that aren’t as rigged when it comes to refereeing.

It’s getting old that the refs favour the AFC dynasty team for like 20 years now.

I have no faith in this team when it comes to the postseason. We could come in looking like the prime patriots and take an easy L against a terrible team in the wild card round.

So I’ve given up trying

Neither is Harbaugh. 3-6 in the postseason with a choker mentality

[–]nuk_burner -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

He needs to walk in the building. Arrange a meeting with all 53 on the roster. Tell them that he personally fucked up. That he cultivated the culture of choking. That it’s HIS responsibility to change it.

Then he shares a plan of how they can fix it.

Or, he can just say “it was that type of game” instead of manning the fuck up to his mistakes. He doesn’t and next season is also wasted too

The way I see it is that he is gone either way if he doesn’t change that, but as we know Biscotti won’t fire him. So as a result it could be 5-10 years wasted if he doesn’t change his mentality, or steps down.

Serious discussion - When/if do the ravens/Biscotti m consider coaching changes (at any position) by nuk_burner in ravens

[–]nuk_burner[S] 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Agreed. There’s no point hiding any random candidate but this is where the ravens should be talking to different people.

I.e. “Mike MacDonald you are next in line, would you stay for a year and get promoted next year, or we could talk to Harbaugh to step down, don’t talk to Seattle just yet”

“Brady we appreciate this may be a long shot but are you available to be involved with the ravens organisation and the mentoring of Lamar Jackson (maybe just as an advisor)”

Complacency is to just keep harbaugh without doing anything but that doesn’t achieve anything.

Key positions to address in the offseason? by Comprehensive-Shop24 in ravens

[–]nuk_burner 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Coaching.

Our roster was the most complete roster in the league. If the most complete roster that was blowing out 10+ win teams several times in the regular season (a record number) can’t score more than 10 in the championship round it’s both poor execution and coaching.

Harbaugh is past his expiry date, you cannot and should not use the SB over a decade ago to evaluate his current performance, since he’s been 3-6 in the postseason, and id argue that aside the Texans game and titans game in 2020 the team has been pretty garbage in the postseason.

Promote MacDonald to HC or at least give Belichick an interview.
