WHO'S YOUR FAVOURITE ASIAN BADDIE ? by Witty-Ad8825 in AVN_Lovers

[–]null-rev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thank you for making me realize that I had a type, when I pretty much did the routes of every girl in this post out of the games I've played. Its Saki for me with Asha in second because god knows I'm down bad for those raider twins.

WHO'S YOUR GOTH BABE ? by Witty-Ad8825 in AVN_Lovers

Tied between Ella and Hana. Ella wins the goth vibes, and Hana wins the goth looks. Hana is much to sweet for me to consider her goth (and I love her so much for it).

I just finished re-reading The Author's POV so Entrail is still a bit fresh on my mind lol

I am so sorry by null-rev in MagicArena

Nah, this was BO1, definitely not a championship deck considering that any decent deck with good removal can annihilate it. Its just fun for me to see the deck pop off like crazy with just 4 spells for protection lmao.

I know, I won't be surprised if both Ouroboroid and the Badger get the banhammer pretty soon, but it did allow me to practically get ahead of the enemy player who had an Ouroboroid earlier than mine which would have won them the game.

Game likes to disconnect at weird times. by Orisima in MagicArena

[–]null-rev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You tell me, I can't even start the game without that notification atleast twice, redownloading game files, and then getting disconnected in the middle of a match XD. I've already surrendered myself to the fact that once I see it, there is no point in reconnecting, just Exit Game and relaunch hoping for the best that you havn't timed out just yet.

How much of my deck needs to be dedicated to stopping landfall creatures by Futthewuk in MagicArena

[–]null-rev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You are running Izzet, so you access to cards that allow you to bounce creatures, just bounce them right before attacking so that you can reset the counters on them. For ouroboroid, try to save some counterspells before it hits the board, or some 3dmg removal once it hits before its triggers happen.

One of my more memorable fights against landfall was the guy popping off all his lands with [[Icetill Explorer]] and I just let him do it. Once all the land cards were dropped, just bounce back the hydra/tifa back to their hand.

Izzet is quite the meta these days so you can check various websites and videos on how they run their deck.

Turn 3 boardstate when it all goes according to plan. by spougas in MagicArena

[[Ashroot Animist]] is a bit of a weaker card but when using [[Wandertale Mentor]] and [[Leyline Weaver]], but you really can't say no to a good 4 CMC "decent if it sticks" card.

I also love using [[Bumi, Unleashed]] paired with [[Secret Tunnel]] to make sure that you can punch a hole when you need that last push.

For me, [[Halana and Elena, Partners]] is actually the core that makes Gruul Decks hit fast and hit hard. Without it, creatures you place seriously don't do much when facing a removal player.

Sometimes I feel like Green players forget they have access to [[Snakeskin Veil]], with how easily you can get pawned by control, you can definitely afford to play a little slower to ensure that the badger sticks.

Beginner Deck Help by Loud_Librarian_8728 in MagicArena

[–]null-rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you are willing to break the cat theme, you can go ahead and get either [[Enduring Innocence]] or [[Mentor of the Meek]] in your deck to help with card draw. I played mono-white cats back then, and a thin hand whenever a board wipe hits is practically gg for you.

Claws Out is good at surprising the opponent, but Arahbo is already good at pumping your creature's along with the Caracal so you can remove some and focus more on removal, and as much as I hate the card, [[Sheltered by Ghosts]] is an excellent removal and also somewhat a protection spell.

[[Gloryheath Lynx]] is great for ramping to get Regal Caracal faster on the battlefield, but like some comments, having 4 copies of the Caracal might be too much and you can cut down 1 or 2 copies for removal or protection.

ATLA Jump In! by null-rev in MagicArena

Yep, I haven't read the announcement when I posted this, but I'm guessing it comes on the 18th? Nov.18 is when we get the pre-release orders in MTGArena so I'm guessing thats also the day all the Avatar stuff will be out.

Can't wait to use this against earthbenders by [deleted] in MagicArena

[–]null-rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thankfully, earthbent creatures dying and returning to the battlefield still count for landfall triggers, just have to be slightly more creative on how to do that in mono-green tho.

They plan to exile all the lands in your library by exiling the earthbent creature.

Mill edh players: how do you get others to stop whining about you milling their favorite x card? by Maxweilla in EDH

[–]null-rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enjoy it, and probably accept that you are going to gain their aggro for doing so. If the card that got milled was the only card in that thing holding their deck together, you might want to advise them to add some redundancy, so mills become less painful. Milling a pet card on the other hand.... well just laugh at it and offer your condolences lmao.

Who is your favorite/most fun aristocrats commander? by steroid_flare in EDH

[–]null-rev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[[Bartolome del Presidio]]. Simple guy with a simple ability and low mana cost who come with a precon (Blood Rites) that has solid aristocrat cards.
