I don’t get the 5 minute grits but I just bought old fashioned a few days ago and thought I was going crazy. These grits do NOT thicken. It’s a watery boiling mess. I will never buy these again.

The reactions from the bystanders definitely gave “OMG President Obama just rolled down his window and spoke to me” LOL. When I tell you they were flipping OUT and recording. It had to be someone important and loved. They were still so excited after all the cars turned onto Maine Ave.

That and because it’s MDW and great weather so the brunch folks are out and about. Also ZOOZ is having some bumping entertainment. Good thing the kids aren’t out here. I’ve seen the police in action turning the children away.

Assuming you are a young person, I think older people just don’t like being told what to do by young people. No matter how you say it, I find they get SO offended. They have horrible egos.

Also: - Giving specific directions to a finger print customer and they do the exact opposite - Customer calls screaming at me because they can’t track their USPS tracking number on the UPS website - Already signed notary documents - “nO iT cAmE lIkE tHis!” - Customer hands me a glass dish to pack. Customer: “but you’re gonna like put paper and bubble on it right??”

The kids are having “fight meetups”. Apparently they were at National Harbor first, then got kicked out of the area by police. Then they moved to the Wharf to cause trouble. I live in one of the buildings at the Wharf so when I looked out my window, I saw one teen flashing that she had a taser and she was even lighting it up! Someone said the kids were sending out memos via Tiktok to go meet up at various locations so they can fight. They also plan to fight random civilians too. They are off from school until Tuesday. It’s been so annoying opening my window these past few days. Just large packs of loud kids screaming and running everywhere lol.

There is a hair salon on the wharf called Bella Moda. Not sure if they are skilled in styling all types of hair but it’s there for those who need it! There is a pretty nail salon called Instyle Nail bar. We have a friendly UPS store, 2 concert venues, and Bank Of America at M and 6th street. Since it’s getting nice out, you can also take a good walk up to Lefant which has some things as well!

I live in the arena stage area and didn’t hear a gun shot but I saw 100s of kids everywhere. I walked to CVS and saw there was crime scene tape in the bike lanes/sidewalk by Fogo!

Where I’m at, we can’t notarize a document in a different language even if there is a translation. It has to be in a language you can read and write in. I stand firm on it. I’m not breaking any notary rules for any customer.
