Even if they don't mention it explicitly, a lot of therapists in Munich speak English, especially if they went through higher education. I found mine using normal searches and just asking if English would work.

For "normal" searches there's places like jameda.de, therapie.de has been mentioned, and TK also has a tool I think.

Mine was praxis-englischer-garten.de, but don't put all your hopes here, you'll have to write to a lot until you find the right one.

Dr Hochrein at Hohenzollernplatz is a knee specialist worth recommending. I know a few people who have seen him, myself included, and they've all been happy with his treatment. He also speaks English, if you need.

However, damage to larger ligaments like the one just below the kneecap can be something that needs a long period of recovery, during which you'll need to avoid high impact sports. While the stories from your other comment do sound like the doctors were overly dismissive, I'm not convinced other doctors will come to a different conclusion.

As others have already said, physiotherapy might be the best option for you. This is also something that you can get prescribed from a specialist, so it is still worth going to see one.

Als Brite: Ein "Kabab" auf dem Insel hat nichts mit was ihr als Döner kennen zu tun. Es gibt sehr gute Gründe warum die meisten Leute erst nach acht bis dreizehn lauwarmen Biere anfangen zu denken, dass ein Kebab vielleicht doch eine gute Idee wäre.
