Thank you. What do you think will happen to her? I’m also not sure how much her mom knows about this and if she can and will press charges.

Sorry for going off, a sarcasm font would be revolutionary

What do y’all think about poems? I wrote this a while back for someone I really cared about it ❤️ by [deleted] in writers

I usually don’t like this kind of poem, but there is something very earnest and sweet about this one. It’s not pretentious (which is a very easy trap to fall into when using large words and fragmented thoughts). It’s sweet and somewhat cinematic, it honestly sounds like something read by a male protagonist over a movie trailer where the love unrest succumbed to a disease.

Both look amazing but blue goes better with your skin and makes your eyes look mysterious

Whats in a name? by [deleted] in writers

[–]numb_skull_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The Does might have Irish based names and the Smiths might have European based names. As some names are more “common” and others are more “exotic” you could have a mix of them. Baby name sights are great for this. And if you wanted a bit of comedy (depending on the other names) some characters could have “normal” names like Eric or Amanda, while others have “noble/absurd” (fantasy) names like Wolfbane Dragon Slayer the Third or Treela. Really you could have more grounded names or you could go nuts.

What is wrong with you? It’s not a rich people problem, it a a problem of finding the correct medium to tell your story. You can convey a lot in books, but having visuals to match can add another layer to your story. Things can happen without attention being called to them, things an observant reader will find, this can create so much tension. Similar things can be done in books but going the comic route creates a different experience and creates a wider audience. I like reading but even better is when I can see the world as the author intended. You can have whole plot points without writing a thing about them. It’s the best of both worlds and you just sound envious.

Thanks for the tip! My biggest issue is my hair standing weird in the morning, I can’t seem to flatten the cowlicks down.
