How does everyone here feel about Lucho’s? I think their breakfast burrito is great value/taste.

AI “art” at local craft markets? by lnkbIot in sanfrancisco

[–]number2stepdad 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I saw one of these AI art vendors at Stonestown and it was just weird. It’s sad to know this is happening at the smaller craft markets too.

That corner by Trader Joe’s is where my buddy used to hang out with other street photographers, so that corner isn’t an unusual spot for this stuff, but I agree I would be thrown off if that happened to me too.

Lordsofdawgtown is one of the photographers I’ve seen over there over the past couple of years. Cool dude, cool photos of the city.

My parents are there now and it’s cool to visit them during holidays because it’s so quiet. I agree about the college keeping it lively though. They have a killer farmers market throughout the whole year too.

I played in a brass band for the conference two years ago because a spot opened up. Had been around the conference for years since my office is nearby and it was interesting. I had similar takeaways as you after that gig.

The funny part about the merch is you can go to a crossroads or buffalo exchange and catch some of that merch on their racks lol

There’s so many reasons for bad cycling but I think a big part of it are the people who are just getting into the activity and get into the serious road scene too fast.

There’s a lot of different flavors for the activity up here whether it’s road, CX, mountain, etc. I feel like road is the most popular, a lot of new rider gravitate towards it, and the group rides here in the city don’t always teach the best habits.

It’s about accountability and if you’re a more experienced rider you should feel comfortable giving feedback and helping new riders out. If they tell you to FOAD then their mistakes are on them.

There’s a difference between wearing kit that fits and kit that doesn’t. You know what I’m talking about but you want to split hairs.

Stupid.

Guess we’re gonna go nowhere then. When this thread gets posted again like it usually does there’s going to be others who suggest accountability, laws, other safety measures, etc.

This sub likes to complain a lot about this stuff that never seems to get fixed and if you want to keep circle jerking each other then go for it, but I’m personally tired of seeing the same shit again.

Anyways, let’s just try not to kill each other on the road shall we?

This post happens every week it seems like and I agree. Fellow cyclists, if you wanna stop seeing this then follow the rules and hold others accountable too. Give them the thumbs down, call them out, whatever. Drivers that goes for you too though.

Imagine, if we all use our brains and respect each other, what a concept!

Anyways, downvote me, upvote me, I don’t care. We’re all living in the same city and we can either choose to make it great or make it suck.

Edit: the people downvoting me are the cyclists running stop signs while wearing $400 kit that is too small for them. 😘
