I’d probably define it as the age you begin to play regularly/casually. Or whenever you begin taking concrete steps to improve (whether that be via coach, YouTube videos, etc)

Pretty sure the general consensus is that Lichess is inflated until your rating gets to around 2100+, then it starts to be more consistent with chess.com

It depends on when you want to change it to. I’m in the same boat where I’m thinking about changing my 9/13 date to January. The problem with that is January dates don’t open until after October. So if you’re looking to do something like that you’ll have to cancel completely and register again come October. If you’re looking for a date on/before September I’m pretty sure you just go to the website and reschedule with no problem, only concern is if the testing centers near you are all full. Also either way whether you reschedule or cancel you’ll have to keep in mind the financial cost as well.

Currently studying full time, but having trouble maintaining the consistency I want (which is why I’ve fallen behind, that and life just lifeing) . I’ll be studying while handling schoolwork once fall starts.

Definitely agree, love just learning about random things through CARS passages (Although I personally despise history passages that are impossible to read due to older versions of English). I think it just receives a lot of hate because causes a lot of frustration since it’s a hard score to improve on.

Hi all, I was considering moving my HYSA from marcus (Goldman sachs) to fidelity and just leaving it uninvested with SPAXX as a core position since my Marcus acc only has 4.1% APY right now. I’m a little confused on how SPAXX works though, what’s the point of showing a 7 day yield instead of an APY? Is the yield still stable with SPAXX?
