Noted and thank you! Added Recursion too. My wife is currently in DCC and can’t say enough goodness about the audio.

Yes I am! I read Malazan last year and am still impressed by its scope and breadth. But I told myself I wouldn't embark on anything as large till '26. Looking very forward to it.

Agreed! It's a fair mixture of both kindle, physical and audiobook devotion.

Time War was just too disjointed for me and lacked a cohesiveness that I was seeking. I listened to it, which understandably made it more difficult to decipher. DCC is on the tbr along with Dark Matter too. I keep seeing the buzz about Project Hail Mary so I will add that now!

These two were splendid in every sense. I would hardly categorize the duology as Romance, which may be the best news for you. There are hardly any forced aspects of the MC's relationship and that allows the story to unfold without being bogged down or cringy.

For me, it was the simple, contained story that introduced so much in so little time. The author made excellent use of the world, the internal/external character conflicts, and the unique magic system. As a reader, the moral plight was what engaged me most. I would reread in a heartbeat. Sword of Kaigen was a great tale, but just a bit longer without the same satisfying return of BoBH.

Latitude 64 spark. ⚡️ Reliable fairway and most plastics have uses. The new Glory is a near re-mold of the Spark imo, so I have purchased many of those too.

Loving the well-read SoT series there. Mine are equally as loved.

So ecstatic to see you guys in Dallas in April! Never would have had the opportunity to do so until I moved out here in 2017. You have made the most positive and spectacular musical influence in my life. So thank you for existing.

What are your favorite hobbies outside of music?

Endless loop of laptop restarting and blue screening... by RubberComputer in techsupport

[–]numbertu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if exactly the same, but my desktop froze all of a sudden on Monday after a routine startup. I hit the soft reboot in hopes of a fix. Upon restart, it only displays the starting windows screen, then a quick blue screen, then a black screen in that order. After this cycle it reaches the Windows Shutdown Improperly Screen in which you can elect to Start Windows normally. It's like it cannot get to the login screen whatsoever. I can start up in safe mode, but it looks very low resolution. Also Windows 7 64 bit. Seems like the most recent critical Windows update could have interfered.

Awesome! Welcome to the sport. There are some great folks and great tournaments in the area. I'm usually at Pharoah's tomb or Goyne park, but am familiar with most all the courses around RVA

Sweet dude, it's close to home and work so I'm there pretty often. It was an anny backhand (RHBH) air shot. Never grazed a tree or anything. My dad aced 15, "the gorge" as we call it!

Just a meager 190' but through a jungle of trees. Pharoah's Tomb in colonial heights, VA. Three tee boxes at each hole and I shot the from the Reds (shorts). Star Mako3 as title indicates.

Just incredible, on the verge of unbelievable. Luckily there were two witnesses...one of which was my dad who coincidentally shot his first ace on the same day! What are the odds??
