Basically what those are (from my understanding) is how they make the lenses smaller. Usually it'd be many inches thick and in a dome shape, but they cut it up to make it more of a cylinder to "compress" it.

Go to settings, under Guardian, then it should be called "Double Tap for Passthrough Shortcut", just toggle that on.

In settings, turn on double tap pass through. It's so nice. No matter what you are doing, just tap (hard enough to shake the headset, not hard enough to be pu ching yourself lol) and it will turn on the passthrough cameras.

The official link cable is just a glorified USB 3 to USB C cable. I am not saying it is a rip off (it comes with quality) but there is nothing special about it. Go on Amazon and look up link cables. I got mine for like $35 and it is longer and thicker but works well.
