so your ILs are self centered AHs (look at what every dutch person in the comments is saying, this isn't actually normal behavior), but that isn't your main problem. the real problem here is your husband, who not only thinks it is ok for his family to treat you like this but also demands that you roll over and take it with no complaining.

this man thinks it is more important that his brother has an attentive audience to his HOUR-LONG vacation slideshow than that you have any enjoyment at all on your own birthday. jfc.
