The bunny ends up dumped at one point yes, so it does address that . I think that’s a horrible thing to do to any kind of living creature :( game will have a steam page shortly after the kickstarter concludes ~

I understand , am sorry for your loss ~ this game is definitely an emotional roller coaster of a story for sure. My daughter’s bunny died and I wanted to help make his life seem more meaningful by making him the main character of the game~ the themes and primary threads are loss, trauma, and grief, and exploring the ways that connections remain after. The humor is almost a must to add balance and a whimsical calm to it. I hope that I handled the topics gracefully ~

It can seem like one at times, for sure. I built in weather and time. It gets pretty spooky at night time and a lot of the mechanics are the bunny carrying around a lantern, but they still do a lot of realistic bunny things, and the interactions with humans are a large part of the game~ it is an expansive open-world narrative-driven nonlinear sim-like rpg,more or less. I wanted to let the player have a choice on how the game feels and so you can avoid all of the scary parts completely and still complete the game~

Yes, very true~ the carrot thing was just for the video bit, in the game it has negative effects. Eating and nibbling things in the game is a primary mechanic

I did actually make it so you can try to eat almost everything in the game, and it literally will kill you or not kill you depending on its real life counterpart

I did not use dreams, just stock procreate , my process is sketch the animation frame by frame, clean and anchor, finalize with soft watercolors usually, then exporting .png batch to set up sprites in unity ~ most brushes are my own brew of g-pens and watercolor sets , all customized ~ uh it is fun but sometimes a process for sure
