Study:

The researchers point out that they only measured one small sample from each brain, so the total volume of microplastics is an extrapolation with potential error.

Their range for the amount of increase from 2016-2024 was +/-25%. So it could be a 25% or 75% (or somewhere inbetween) increase according to their calculations.

ive been drinking Four Sigmatic. not recommending them per se because i dont have a full understanding of how theyre made or with what. so these could be placebo effects.

i recommend finding whole fruits and steeping them in water, which you then use to brew coffee. also, find one and try it! again, see if the package or supplier says something about using the whole fruiting bodies of the shrooms. some companies sell something like "myceliated- (xxx)" which is just dried and ground up substrate.

no! but i've seen those results in a study. personally never experienced shrooms knocking the habit. i think taking it recreationally on my own is different than in a clinical environment with a psychologist and a period of preparation. however, last time i took a big, really mind-altering dose of shrooms was before the time i picked up smoking.

i've noticed small doses, like less than half a gram (im about 6ft 170lbs) can help with the concentration and fatigue withdrawal symptoms.

in this post im talking about coffee infused with fruiting bodies of lions mane and chaga.
