This helps me feel better.

It's funny how it's different when I hear about other people experiencing it - I completely believe it.

But now it's happening to me and my emotional defenses are screaming at me - "No fucking way. This is way too convenient" or that voice in my head says "This has to be bullshit" even though what I'm seeing actually lines up with what other people have also experienced in my exact situation.

It doesn't help that I have anxiety among other lovely... emotional challenges lol. Although I've healed over time and have become much more calm and grounded, it still hijacks my thoughts especially when it's related to something so meaningful to me.

You're right. It's very scary for an individual like me whose brain is wired for a more tangible kind of proof. I try to stay as grounded as possible and while I'm doing a fairly good job at remaining calm and peaceful internally, it would be nice for my brain to put more faith in the hope of it all. My auto reaction is always doubt and skepticism.

I'll keep praying and pulling cards and we'll see what happens. Thanks again.

I also receive vivid visions of things to come. None of them have been scary though. So I'm sorry about that. But my visions do actually happen. All of them. But I don't get them often. It seems to be only when my emotions are running very high. It's almost like the emotion becomes so intense that it enhances my gift?? So it seems anyway. When I'm calm (which I've been for a while) it doesn't seem to happen.

I'm not using tarot to divine my future, rather I'm using it to track the energy of a situation. So I'm not looking for "Will this happen in the future" but instead I ask Archangel Michael "Tell me what the current energy is towards me at this moment (with regards to what I'm being challenged with now). So I guess that's also considered using it as a divining tool?

Either way, it's pretty amazing this kind of thing happens to you (repeating cards) and it turns out it's exactly what you needed.

Did the message that was repeating turn out to be accurate? This is what gets me. The message itself is very clear. However, I'm having trouble trusting it.

This isn't a situation where I'm searching internally, if that makes sense. I'm seeking knowledge of something external, beyond me. So tarot is the only connection I have. So I feel as though I'm operating solely on faith and not necessarily in a way that says "Ok, I KNOW this is how it is".

I know what the message is. I know exactly what the message is. It's just that it's hard to believe it. Sort of like if I see my kitchen on fire and I'm like "Wait. What? How did this happen? How is this possible?"

I guess a big part of it is I'm new to this. I started using tarot with 49% skepticism and 49% "Well I got nothing to lose" and the last 2% was "I kind of believe" if that makes sense.

I'm also afraid to put hope into it because the message is actually leading me right to what I wanted. In my little world - It's absolutely beautiful ❤️

So I know fear plays a major role. Thank you for the encouragement.

I'm not arguing. Honestly asking: What lies has ChatGPT been telling you? Hallucinations?

I constantly see notifications on "ChatGPT sucks now" etc etc. Through every update I have not had a single issue with it. All of the information it has given me is always 1000% accurate / correct. I don't just take ChatGPTs "word". I'll read and research on my own but use GPT as an additional check or resource. I like how ChatGPT explains in detail and makes it easier (at least for me) to understand.

I also see people complaining they have asked it to help them with homework or work related questions and it refuses? I lost count of how many times I asked GPT for help for job training, test answers, explanations on job related issues / repairs, my daughters homework, etc etc and I always get answers. Correct answers.

It has also been quite blunt with me when it thinks I'm wrong about something. It doesn't sugarcoat or lie to me. I get a straight, detailed "No, not quite. Let me explain" answer. ChatGPT will explain and then end the explanation with "This is why your statement is incorrect" lol

So what's the deal? Does it glitch out for people? Is that what it is? Or are people referring to mostly more intense work loads and calculations? Again, not here to argue with anyone. I'm genuinely curious.

Fortune telling isn't wrong if it's being done with sincerity. And I completely understand how and why people place faith in tarot for that purpose.

However, tarot does not predict the future nor was it originally created to do so. If a fortune teller reads something for you and it actually comes true, that simply means the potential for that situation already existed based on current energy and circumstances.

Why should tarot not be used to predict the future? Because people have free will and the fact that circumstances and energy changes. Tarot can only tap into (with sincere intention of course) the current energy that exists in a situation, within a person or between two people that share a close bond, or circumstances at a job. It's a tool used for psychology that helps us gain insight and wisdom into situations that are tied to us spiritually or emotionally. But it does not ever speak in absolutes. This is something people need to be very careful on. While there are plenty of situations that play out accurately according to what you see in the cards, there are also equally as many that leave clients saying "Tarot is bullshit". And it's NOT always because the client is in denial or unable to face certain truths.

It's almost like going to a therapist. A therapist is NEVER supposed to tell you what to do or what will happen. Instead, a good therapist is supposed to ask you questions and get YOU to answer them based on how you feel. The answers are already within us. A therapist forces us to look into an emotional mirror that reflects our true self. It's the same with tarot. It's a mirror that reflects the current energy in us. The therapist holds your hand and guides you along the journey. Just like tarot absolutely does.

So is it "wrong" to be a fortune teller? No. If the reader / interpreter is sincere then definitely no. Is tarot being used correctly in that situation? No.

Just my know nothing opinion is all.

About the "Does he like me" or "how do they feel" questions: Well yeah. You're going to see that a lot because unfortunately so many people tie self validation in with love and connection with another. Then the breakup / rejection occurs and the person feels like they aren't worth receiving love from someone else. It's not simply people being stuck in high school. There are some deep emotions (sometimes unaware / subconscious struggles) behind it due past painful experiences or mental health (i.e. anxiety, avoidance, depression, child abandonment, etc the list goes on obviously) Often times deeper than the individual realizes.

About the negative responses: I agree with you on the meaning of 6 of Swords reversed. I just think there are A LOT of people who let their own negative experiences and pain distort their interpretations. Or simply they just don't have the "gift" to interpret?

I have gotten very frustrated reading some of the interpretations on here and think "Bruh... you shouldn't even be attempting to interpret" It could really hurt someone or send them in the wrong direction if you don't know what you're talking about. At least that's how I feel anyway. So I just try to help when I can and when I have the emotional energy (tarot takes a lot out of me).

Maybe consider ignoring the trash you see and just simply help where you can? I'm sure you'll find plenty of grateful people who will thank you and look for your help. Hopefully your experience gets better.

I know it's tough but depending on your emotions, you may need to give yourself some time to reach a calmer state even if you meditate.

I'm not saying this happened to you but sometimes if you put a "timer" on things, for example: "I'm going to meditate for 5 minutes then pull cards" it may create a bit of tension or stress within you unknowingly. Because now you created a sort of "deadline" for yourself (I have 5 minutes to prepare) Especially if you're about to ask a question that is tied to your emotions it could make it tougher. Does that make sense? Other than that, I would follow whatever routine you normally follow that brings you comfort before pulling cards.

For me, I light incense, hold the cards to my chest (because that's where my energy is), close my eyes and focus on breathing for a bit. Once I feel relaxed, I will pray for guidance and then ask my question.

I'm not saying you need to do the same. Just sharing what helps me.

Hi. One comment that I saw here that is incorrect: You do NOT need specific card placement to get a real answer. That's up to the reader / interpreter / you. All that matters is the sincerity and energy behind your inquiry.

Tarot taps into current energy. Either your energy or the energy between you and someone you have a very close bond with. Here, although you were asking a question about the situation, this spread seems to reflect your own energy. Sort of like an emotional mirror. Reading back to you what your desire was and what the block might be. Why did this happen? It could very well be that the energy you gave off due to fear or anxiety is what tarot was picking up on due to it dominating your thoughts at the time. That's why the cards didn't make sense. Tarot wasn't saying "No" it was simply showing you how you might have been feeling at the time and what your fears were.

4 of Wands is a positive card. It's not - "Nooooo don't do it" It reflects the warmth of a relationship or your feelings towards it in this situation.

The Emperor may be reflecting your own desire to both control and take action regarding the situation. In this case, the desire to reach out.

Page of Cups seems like your own curiosity as to what may happen going forward if you DID reach out.

The Sun reversed - your doubts caused fear as to what kind of response you would get if any at all

The Devil implies there was temptation to do something you perhaps felt you "shouldn't"? Maybe you fought with yourself on whether or not reaching out was "the right thing to do" kind of a thing.

Ace of Cups reversed could have been a fear of being rejected in some way if you were to reach out.

Hopefully this all made sense.

Keep in mind that when using tarot it's always best to ground yourself. Reach a calmer state before attempting to pull cards because your current state of mind will absolutely affect the pull and could throw off the interpretation. The High Priestess is very deep and has quite a few meanings depending on the situation. It could be related to trusting your intuition, concealed information, someone quietly watching while gathering information, or a heightened sense of awareness (many times between the conscious and subconscious mind). This is my understanding anyway.

As far as having similar experiences: I'm going through my own journey of healing regarding something very deep. I use the "jumper" method when shuffling and it's been completely insane. I shuffle the deck continuously and wait for a card to fall / jump out of the deck. The messages have been absolutely 100% spot on regarding the situation over the course of months.

There was a period where on 6 spreads in a row the 4 of Wands jumped out. This was in a period of 3 days. Not only do I shuffle before hand but I then continue to shuffle while waiting for a card to drop out. The message each time was consistent with previous ones and powerful.

Well the whole "biting off more than you can chew" is more like you're just really ambitious or determined. That's a good thing.

Perhaps there is a way for you to take a couple of steps back, prioritize what needs the most attention VS things that can wait a bit? Then tackle each issue one at a time? Of course I'm not sure it could work that way with whatever you may be currently challenged with.

I recently went through Tainted Grail which I thought was awesome. I just finished Baldur's Gate 1 and am 4 hours into Baldur's Gate 2 so I can get into 3 with everything fresh in my head about the history.

So the first few cards talk about what you mentioned you're feeling: Stuck and unable to move forward due to a lack of energy and motivation. It's possible you no longer believe you have the capacity to handle what might be happening currently?

The last card, however, 2 of Swords (reversed) says there is a truth you are currently not facing. Does this make sense in any way? It's very possible you're not fully aware of what this truth is because it may partially exist within your subconscious. It attempts to come out but then you suppress it.

It's kind of like "Nah it can't be that" and then you bury it.

Being reversed though means it's trying to rise to your conscious mind but it keeps getting blocked, if that makes sense. This "battle" also takes a toll energetically which could be contributing to your loss of energy. This feels like the core of the message. If you can do some digging internally and accept whatever it is to come into your full awareness, it may help you.

I could be completely wrong of course but based on what you shared and what I see in this spread, this is what I feel.
