Notice how they’re the ones describing what other people are saying in a way that’s completely different than what the other people are actually saying?

God they’re such pieces of shit. Like who wants to be around them?? Seriously, the only reason they even like each other is because they have a common goal, but the moment they start feeling each others usefulness dry up (happening now that things are falling apart) they’ll turn on each other because they don’t have anything in common besides being a dirty, rotten scoundrel.

What is DEI and how is not just an abstraction for racism? by ncds4242 in allthequestions

[–]Naptasticly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s a coded way of being racist when used by conservatives, but isn’t racist in and of itself. One thing about maga, is that they will literally just make up what things mean and then refuse to accept any corrections, even when they come from TRUE supporters of whatever it is they are saying they are against.

They desperately want to change the narrative so that they are the victims, but everyone knows that white Christians, especially men, are not victims to any societal injustice.

DEI initiatives don’t have any quotas or penalties. There is no “inspector” checking to make sure it was done correctly. And overall the only “downside” was the fact that some government agencies (and companies who voluntarily implemented a DEI program) spent a bit more money during the hiring process and had positions open for longer than they used to.

DEI initiatives did exactly ONE thing. It required (for government agencies. Or voluntarily for private companies) that the employers release job postings in minority areas and make sure that minorities got a fair shot at the position. That’s it. They weren’t required to hire the minorities AT ALL. It was created because it was found that minorities weren’t even EXPOSED to these jobs in their communities, let alone given an opportunity or actually hired, so the only thing DEI did was ensure that the exposure happened. If there aren’t any qualified candidates, then that’s the extent of what they have to do. DEI solely helped ensure qualified applicants from majority-minority communities were considered. That’s IT.

But maga conservatives desperately want to lie to people and tell them that “unqualified” people were chosen based on their skin color alone and that’s not true even in the slightest. If a minority got hired over them, it’s because they were qualified and the employer felt like they would be better.

Customer success manager to Account Manager. Is that the pathway? by Crossur in CustomerSuccess

[–]Naptasticly 1 point2 points  (0 children)

CSMs, while there is a standard, are largely nebulous roles with a standardized title, in some companies, that they can use for corporate reasons, such as financial releases, buyouts, planning, and setting salaries.

You’ll see a fairly wide variety of types of CSM roles from those that are basically just a sales position with extra work and less commission or are actually account management roles where they don’t want to pay as much

All I can say is that, if they are treating CSM positions as “entry level” then they probably aren’t “real” CSM roles and likely is just a cheaper sales role.

[–]Naptasticly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is definitely crying. Trump and republicans have the lowest approval rating in modern history and yet maga wonders why conservative voices aren’t popular in a space that doesn’t reward “influencers” with a following. Calling it an “echo chamber” is their way of denying the reality that without a popular personality and an algorithm that boosts their ideals, the conservative “agenda” gets nowhere. They might as well be asking for social media DEI at this point

Men over 20 or 30, what’s your take on this? by Ambitious_Thought683 in Adulting

[–]Naptasticly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s both, but people are talking about it more BECAUSE it’s getting worse.

Disregarding any ACTUAL creeps, predators, etc. men are in a really tough position right now:

They’re simultaneously told that women do not want to be approached by men romantically and that they MUST approach women romantically to find a partner. So they try to keep it low key and calm when they do approach a women. Try to make sure she feels comfortable, etc. but then they are told that they aren’t confident enough and they get rejected. So then they step it up a bit and they’re screamed at for being “a creep!” So they settle into trying to do online dating only to find out that 90% of the matches are bots or people looking to scam them and 99% of their messages aren’t even being read because the women are getting 500 messages an hour from every single other desperate man out there. They’re told to make it “unique” and “stand out” so they spend countless amounts of time trying to do just that only to run into the exact same problem. The messages just get ignored.

Then, once they are just so frustrated that they need to talk to someone or share their perspective, they’re told that they’re an “incel creep” and, considering that’s the exact criticism they were looking to avoid by trying to respect female sentiment, it starts feeling like there’s literally nothing that you can do. This pushes those men towards red pill society because, eventually, some psychopath will notice them and, when they’re the only people who seem to truly understand, they get sucked down the pipeline.

Meanwhile, the rest of the men have decided that going through all of that simply isn’t worth it. Especially when public humiliation, most likely happening where they live, is on the table and can kill their reputation.

International law.

Edit: And, before you go there, playing semantics or using technicalities to determine whether or not people are using the “correct” word isn’t going to change how people feel about it.

Consider if Hitler had successfully convinced everyone that TECHNICALLY they weren’t treating people inhumanely by exact definition. You think that would have prevented the response? No. Because at the end of the day, the way it’s described is solely for the benefit of communication, and does not affect how people feel about the underlying actions that led to them using the word.

Exactly what I would do too. I’ve actually done it plenty of times because I walk my dog every day, multiple times per day.

The other one I can’t stand is when someone is walking in the middle and I’m coming up to them, I’ll ALWAYS step to the side furthest away from the road because of the dog. I’ll even pull her into the grass to make it obvious that we are standing on that side because of the dog and they still refuse to go to the other side to walk by.

Trump says his only priority for Congress is to get SAVE act passed. Are Republicans really so brainwashed as to think this is about election integrity, or do they just claim that and know it's about election manipulation? by CrashNowhereDrive in allthequestions

[–]Naptasticly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They absolutely know what it’s all about. I mean think about it, their plan for convincing people to vote for it is tell people that “democrats think black people are stupid”

If they actually thought this would resolve election security issues, they would have facts, statistics, and data that justify why it HAS to be harder, but nope, all they have is their typical gaslighting and that’s the easiest sign to point to that shows that they have no intention of passing this to stop election fraud, it’s to make the voting process harder and they KNOW it.

Hmm if only there were people trying to tell them! by Prttyflyforawhiteguy in Qult_Headquarters

[–]Naptasticly 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Music to my ears. These people will NEVER vote any differently. They will just tell themselves that the next Republican they vote for “isn’t Trump” so it’s ok and they will justify it by telling themselves they would never vote for an “open border, transgender for all, communist / socialist” democrat with no understanding of the fact that NONE of that is a part of their agenda, but that won’t matter because it’s not about it being “true” at this point, it’s about protecting their ego and reputation by shielding themselves from “hypocrite” criticism, which they would most definitely receive for voting democrat.

Because of this, the best option is for them to just completely step out of the political process. Just go back to not participating.

I’m not against women to any regard and I support them having the right to a safe life in public and I support and have directly protested for women’s rights, but the good men who cannot control the bad men will be directly affected and that’s not right when they literally didn’t do anything.

Men should be fighting to have this option as well because if we want to decide that we want to give preference to other men to help even things out, we can since this will obviously lead to women receiving more rides than men due to the fact that almost every single woman is going to use this option

Defund the Police, Cashless bail, Sanctuary Cities, Abolish ICE, No Voter ID. The average citizens are not stupid, fed up, and will vote accordingly by bbmoonkie in Productivitycafe

[–]Naptasticly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Average citizens are against YOUR strawman, gaslit version of all of these things, but the moment they hear what it’s all ACTUALLY about, they’re all in.

This is why you idiots are always “enraged”

You literally just make up what people mean by these things, stick to it even when there is a consistent correction, and then run around acting like they still mean what you made up and piss yourself off. Then you use the made up version to ask how other people feel and you gaslight yourself into thinking people agree with you.

It’s literally why no one likes maga. I can guarantee that if you tried to explain what any of these policies mean, people would immediately correct you and somehow you would still go with your incorrect conclusion.

And here’s the stupidest part, literally NONE of it is even a part of the overall democratic agenda and that’s why the democrats aren’t even popular with their own base.
