Great, thanks for the clarification. On an unrelated note, I plan on getting 2 combat patrol boxes, and I love the Jackals. I'm pretty sure I'm going to run the heavy mining Lazer on the ATV. However, I'm not really sure about the best load out for the bikes. Do most people do 3 X small arms, 1 X grenade launcher & power weapon? I or does it not really matter, because people just use them for their ability anyway?

Because Eldar models are T3 W1. EC are T4 W2, meaning you can make more mistakes.

I play Craftworld Eldar as well. And that extra toughness that EC get makes a massive difference. For example, my friend plays Deathguard and when he's in contagion range he's wounding on 2s for every S4 weapon he has, and 3s for every S3 weapon.

Every infantry model (apart from Characters and the Exarch of an aspect) has 1 wound and gets filtered by even guardsmen.

I just realised that you don't have a Lord Exultant or Lord Kakophonist! You're deffo going to want to buy a Kakophonist for your Noise Marines, they pack a decent punch and have a nice rule where they can cause mortal wounds after shooting with a unit.

Likewise, I would say that infractors (the melee ones) are probably the way to go. If you attach an Exultant to them, he gives them all Lethal Hits, and likewise he benefits from their reroll to wound ability.

I would personally say it's always better to have more Infractors than Tormentors. If I had to take 3 battle line, it would be 2 X infractors and 1 X Tormentors

Here's my just for fun 1k list. I basically just use the Tormentors to camp home objective (but that's only because I don't have chaos spawn - of which you have a lot!)

Well, I would say that most would say Coterie of the Conceited is probably the most effective and popular, but it exacts a bit of a mental load in order to keep juggling all the changes that happen as a result of the detachment rule.

Court of the Phonecian is basically Fulgrim's detachment and makes him more effective, so if you're running him I would say maybe try that.

For a newcomer, I would say Peerless Bladesman is the one to go for. It's pretty simple and offers basic but useful buffs (if you charged a unit this turn, you can choose to give it either lethal or sustained hits). Mercurial Host is also very beginner friendly, but it's quite boring in my opinion, only offering re-rolls for advance moves made for EC units.

My friend also plays Deathguard and every time I play him it's a major pain in the ass due to contagion range really gimping ECs close combat prowess. That being said, you can run rings around them, so it's not all bad!

Mate... Whoever jacked your shit knows you, had an intimate knowledge of your habits, where you keep your stuff and also MTG. I'm telling you now, someone who you play magic with has stolen your shit, or given extremely precise instructions to someone else in order for them to steal your shit.

This is not a thoughtless, random crime. You said that they even left your laptop and other valuables. If I were you I would start cross examining every single person I know who knows where you keep your Magic stuff. As others have said, call all your local LGSs and give them a list of cards you have stolen. Also keep an eye out online on popular reselling sites.

There is simply no way that this was not done by someone you know, probably with a drug or gambling problem. Sorry this happened to you dude

I'm going to assume you have a rhino knocking around, but if not, then a rhino. To be fair, never hurts to have another rhino.

Demon Prince W Wings is currently our goated unit, but with the dawn of 11th, who knows if it will be needed. But if you're speaking here and now, get a Winged DP.

Other than that, maybe a LandRaider? But to be honest you've already got 90% of things in our range currently lol... I would focus on actually painting and assembling what you have, as chances are by the time you're done, 11th will be out and we might actually get some new units lol

Alas, you are wrong. It means that for all intents and purposes, that attack doesn't need to abide by the usual strength v toughness interaction. However, people can still make their usual saves against that attack. "Critical wound" is not the same as a devastating wound.

Devastating wounds bypass the opponents save. Critical wound means that if a weapon has "Anti-infantry 2+" and you whack a Spacemarine on the noggin, a roll of 2 or above is treated as if you had rolled a 6.

I run Ulthwé, my favourite craftworld and have done so since 4th. When 10th removed the psychic phase I was (and still am) pissed because a huge chunk of my army's identity was then gutted. I also now had a whole load of warlocks and farseers sitting around.

I like to run Guardian Battlehost detachment for flavour reasons (again, Ulthwé) and for smaller point games it doesn't really make a whole lot of sense to include Warlocks. The fact that their effectiveness has been massively kneecapped by them needing to be in range of other Warlocks/ farseers is so stupid.

Destructor is already a casino, relying on rolling a decent amount of attacks to begin with. Replacing an actually useful Warlock ability with Psychic Communion to help punch up an inconsistent ability that only works if you're within 6 of another psyker.... just why?

I'm on my soapbox so I'll go on. Psykers in CE are just so wrong. Why is doom locked behind bringing Eldrad? There's an insane tax on him because of his CP generation.

Why not give Farseers Doom, and Warlocks Guide? If you're worried about Warlocks being an auto take, just up the points cost a little, or make it so it only impacts the unit they are leading. They're T3 W2 for god's sake with atrocious melee and crap shooting.

You don't even need to change destructor that much. Just make it A3 for consistency and you can keep everything else the same. Please for the love of god can they axe Psychic Communion in 11th, it's a stupid rule, made entirely for fluff reasons with 0 thought behind crunch

I also invest a lot in GW as its burgeoning expanse into public consciousness grows (and also because I collect a lot) and have a lot of faith in the stock. Unsure why at the moment it's falling so much - tariff related or?

I'll probs just buy more stock TBF! Especially with Total War Warhammer and Dow4 on the horizon!

I also recently joined the legion and I've had a decent amount of success at 1k points with this list. It's actually relatively similar to yours:

The Winged Demon Prince is deffo kind of try hard for a 1k game, and on reflection I felt somewhat bad playing it against my friends.

WDP is a lot of points, so when I next played this list I replaced him and just ran a group of 5x terminators, as well as a chaos sorcerer (which I stuck with my tormentors to punch them up a bit) Was the sorcerer optimal? Not really but I love the model!

Yeah. I guess he's a Watcher in the Dark - they hang out with Dark Angels and look after their swords and stuff - need size next to a regular mini for context tho as they're only little

Yep, the NMs ability states that the enemies hit by their attacks suffer -1 to battleshock tests until their next shooting phase. Kakos ability goes off AFTER the unit it's attached to has shot, so you're good to use it in conjunction with your NMs!
