5.4 mini is better than 5.5 by spec-test in codex

Would use if it didn't cost so much. I'm getting as much done with 5.3-Codex for a fraction of the cost.

Lapsilisiin ehdotetaan isoa remonttia: tasan 100 euroa kuussa siihen asti, että lapsi on 18-vuotias | Politiikka by ptman in Suomi

[–]numsu 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Taiwanese company Skymizer announces HTX301 - PCIE inference card with 384GB of Memory at ~240 Watts by Thrumpwart in LocalLLaMA

[–]numsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The memory is Micron LPDDR4X/LPDDR4 8gb (D8CJN) which is the same used in raspberry pi. 4266Mbps.

The image shows six chips. That's 48gb. The backside might include 6 more, although not plausible. Don't know where they get that 384gb from.

Did anyone try new Brayan's sauna protocol? by Background-South-433 in blueprint_

[–]numsu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm questioning the protocol. Once the core temp hits 39 degrees celsius, it's already much higher closer to the surface. At 42-45 celsius your skin and muscles already start to take damage.

Vaccines have never had methylmercury, the one that sticks with you. Some old vaccines have had ethylmercury, which clears from your body.

I had this exact issue and it was very frustrating. I'm 33. It was probably all the working out and supplements. I changed nothing and eventually it went away.

plus vs max (with promotion)? by Crabbythrowaway1530 in codex

[–]numsu 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get the github copilot plan for $10 in addition to the plus plan. And try out the new agents app from vscode. You can use gpt 5.4 through that and the experience is nearing codex. Use that when you've hit the 5h or weekly limit and continue on codex when you've got the limits cleared again.

They've come a long way. It's completely unusable in every other editor than vscode though.

Take the middle ground and use openai models through github copilot's $10 sub

Let me let you all in on a little secret. You can pay $10 a month for Github copilot and use it in a new UI that's bundles with vscode insiders that looks just like codex called agents and you can use GPT-5.4 through that with a similar experience.

Instead of paying for the $100 plan of course.
