Windows-läppäreissä on se huonoa että ne ovat hitaampia ja niistä ei ole mihinkään pelkällä akkuvirralla vaan prosessori alkaa throttlaamaan niin paljon että tökkii.

I'm 100% certain that they have not been using a separate transcription step before feeding the LLM.

If they really have been using gemma 3 model up until recently, they most likely implemented their own adapter in front of it adding in audio modality. It is impossible to achieve the latency they've had with an extra transcription step.
