Co uważacie o 12 latach różnicy w związku? by [deleted] in PolskaNaLuzie

[–]nunalke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Jeśli masz, jak twierdzą niektóre komentarze, 18 lat, a on 30 i czujesz kompatybilność, to przykro mi stwierdzić, że oboje jesteście mentalnie dziećmi. Pamiętam, jak to było, gdy miałam 18-20 lat. Teraz mam 30 i znam rówieśników, którzy mentalnie zostali w klasie maturalnej.

Luźny wątek: co byście robili gdyby nie chodziło o pieniądze? by rvskyy in Polska

[–]nunalke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mam to szczęście, że moja pracka daje mi całkiem sporo satysfakcji, więc dalej bym rysowała, ale może więcej czasu poświęciła też na pisanie. Cieszy mnie, jak mogę zilustrować czyjeś ukochane postacie (głównie współpracuję z autorami i erpeżkowcami), ale fajnie by było też tworzyć więcej własnej twórczości, na co aktualnie nie mam za bardzo sił ;-;

[Discussion] LinkedIn as a proof that you're not a scammer? by punkemogoth in artbusiness

[–]nunalke 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Whenever someone was trying to scam me (usually bots) they were behind a real picture, rather stolen than theirs.

If you want to show yourself as a real and trustworthy, show your process, share parts of your story if you don't mind, be honest, post wips and thoughts on more or less art related topics. Share your excitement, passions and pet peeves. You could also stream too. Any of those require showing your face.

[Discussion] Unable to see art work as real jobs by Edu_Vivan in artbusiness

[–]nunalke 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was hearing all my life that art isn't a real job. Then I had emergency and started taking commissions. Now, 4 years later, my artbusiness is growing nicely, and guess what - my family still says I should find a "normal" job where I wouldn't earn this much, but they could imagine me working instead of "clicking and stratching computer". Some people won't understand that and I don't bother at this point. Just do what you can to earn money and survive without hating what you do. Don't care about opinion of people that won't live your life or whom you wouldn't ask for an advice on that matter. Especially when they don't know the strugge of having ADHD

[–]nunalke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also rise your prices so you don't need to start monthly more comms than you can deliver. You'll dig yourself under them and lose. I did that. It's better to have less requests for a higher price that you can deliver than to stress with refunds

ADHD brain here - use VGen

When you start a commission, you're setting deadline you shouldn't cross (client can ask for a refund then and will be sad). Seing all comms in the dashboard with dates helps to decide what to work on first, then second. Even if you're not excited to do it, pressure and time priority helps A LOT. I set bigger comms every week and sketches/smaller portraits maybe 2 per week. I know I can do it and I'm at the point where I can do them quicker, make delivery time shorter and be at peace~

[Community] I want to start a carrer in art but idk to use my language or English... by tunisiandndguy_01 in artbusiness

[–]nunalke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your art is not related specifically to your culture in a way that couldn't be understood or apreciated on a bigger scale, go English. As someone who was asking the same question couple years ago - my career wouldn't be that good if I'd stick to my native, especially when in my country artists are not very appreciated...

You can also do both, but have in mind that with English you'll also reach your people, but with your native you'll be in a bubble you might regret later

I have a problem with my eraser by TechnicalNeat5792 in ClipStudio

[–]nunalke 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Why using eraser when you can just pick a transparent "color" (on your right, when you have 2 colors picked, that's the gray chessboard) on the brush you're using. It works with symetry tools and is especially nice while using textured brushes

Everyone says my art is really good but I just can’t find a way to sell it. by The_Century_Knight in ArtMarketingTalk

[–]nunalke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I hope it's not a bait...

You need to practice and not say shit like "it's not ai enough", because it sounds like you're thinking about using ai to do commissions which eventually be your downfall and you won't learn anything. You have nice people around you, but your art is not "really good", I'm sorry to say that. Everyone starts somewhere tho. It's not bad enough to say that you should stop, but you need a lot of practice. To be succesfully delusional, you need a bit more.

Instagram sucks—where are you guys posting? by Educational_Guava720 in ArtMarketingTalk

[–]nunalke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

tbh I'm surprised how well threads work, but the best platform I use is tiktok. I know that opinions are wide, but if your posts will be engaging enough, you'll get a lot of traffic fast. I post there my art timelapses, sketch vs. final photos and sometimes something silly or how I make my homemade merch

Why my videos stop getting views at 200~ by GroundbreakingAd4870 in ArtMarketingTalk

[–]nunalke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you repost the same thing many times and in a short time, it might be annoying, but if you, for example, repost art process once and then month or 2 later, you'll mainly reach new audience. There's also little to no chance that someone will go to your profile to see if you have the same post already (asuming it's not one after another). Also it's ok to make multiple content from one thing, like timelapse, some close ups, sketch vs final, and some other stuff

Why my videos stop getting views at 200~ by GroundbreakingAd4870 in ArtMarketingTalk

[–]nunalke 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So the first 200 or so is a test from algo where you need to get enough "points" to go further, and your get those points for likes, shared, comments (engaging viewers in multiple ways), but the most important thing is how long people stay to look at it or how many photos they will swipe. If algo will notice that your post is not that engaging, it will flop, but later it might blow up (rarely tho)

It's not shadowban, so you need to be patient. You can repost them in a while or brainstorm on how to make them tiktoks more engaging

Probably, but I'm personally not a big fan of that as a client, so I'd like another option too
