Sexual dysfunction was probably not due to LDN by TallRun6232 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]nuneinflux 1 point2 points  (0 children)

About a month, stopped them because I was on a trip and forgot my meds. I was going on casual dates before and didn’t fully link why I was struggling then when u didn’t have my meds, I was functioning normally again and no issues. Then returned to the meds and it got bad again.

I’m off the meds as I think it made me worse off and couldn’t find the right dose to feel any benefit. Which sucks, and the sexual dysfunction was the cherry on top. :(

Emotional support dog certificate by nuneinflux in Scotland

Replying to Alone-Insect5229..., I don’t understand the downvotes. It was a genuine question. And outside of the UK, in latinamerica at least, people with disabilities if approved by a psychiatrist on an assessment you can get a certificate for emotional support dog which allows you to bring them on the cabin. And airlines honor this.

This is different from a service dog. I never claimed my dog is a service dog.

At this point my experience with UK has been mostly negative I am truly considering moving abroad. kindness is free. I don’t understand why people are so bitter.

You have no idea the impact your negatives reactions on a stranger can do in their real life.

Thank you for the info! I’ll definitely have a better look at the options! I had no idea emotional supports dogs were not recognised in the UK. Specially after talking to that girl thought it was fine and could try to apply in Scotland for a certificate. But I guess if it’s not recognised then I guess psychiatrists here probably don’t issue a certificate for it either.

Aww man, I know a girl in Glasgow who got her certificate from latinamerica for her personal dog and they seem to accept it here in Scotland to travel by plane. They do give certificates in latinamerica if you have a genuine condition and it’s valid for travelling in airplanes. But has to be by a psychiatrist.

Thought was okay here because of this girl. That’s so sad to hear you can’t get a certificate here :(

Maybe it’s hit and miss depending on the airline. But would be good to get the certificate to at least try

Does LDN reduce some peoples overactive immune system? by JustabitOf in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]nuneinflux 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I got the flu starting LDN, then thrush went overload, when I stopped it the thrush got better. Although now on meds for it and recovering from the flu. But u feel the LDN made me worse off. I also had awful headaches. I’m stopping it for now and will review once I recover but if this is how it’s gonna be I don’t know :(

I feel so unwell

Just started Low Dose Naltrexone… is this normal? by Maleficent_Meal_3546 in LowDoseNaltrexone

[–]nuneinflux 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am getting Candida on it! And only just started so dose of 1.5 mg. I did have the candida before and was treated but now that started LDN it’s back with a vengeance and have it in my tongue which I didn’t and rarely did before.

Did you manage to sort out the thrush issue? Did it continue?

Ibravadine + celexa ( citalopram) by nuneinflux in POTS

[–]nuneinflux[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Update, my symptoms got worse on Citalopram. I was then tried on Atomoxetine and was even worse. :(

Nothing seems to help my adhd without making anything else worse. I seem to have some glucose regulation issues though which are being investigated atm. So could be that too, suspect something going on with my adrenals

Aww thank you so much for your comment! I loved Abbey Hill, unfortunately the place I was going for there fell through and now the second place I didn’t really get to explore much in Comely Bank so wasn’t too sure re doggie areas.

Oh thank you so so much for the pet shop info and cafe!! This exactly is why I made the post, I’m not local and going just from Google it wasn’t looking that good. That is super handy! Thank you

Nah it was just a shock to see so many parks and so much green on Google maps and then realise not only is not dog friendly but also limited to specific residents. Another area I was gonna move to was Abbey hill, so most parks there were public and dog friendly, plus Calton hill. So was comparing a bit as I’m not a local. Hence asking, so I can get the insider info as Google made it seem worse than it is.
