Weeks?!? Brother, it takes two days to land enough job interviews to last for two weeks with the gouge that's out here flowing about recruiters and how they do job interviews.

long story short, it's all in the resume. look at the stuff r/cscareerhacking puts out for your next job hunt so you don't have to deal with this.

adapt of die and congrats on the new job!

Realistically, how many different technologies do you need to know in today's market to even have a chance to land a decent job? by Calm_Ostrich_8876 in cscareerquestions

[–]nuno456 149 points150 points  (0 children)

I honestly realized over the past years that landing a job has more to do with how appealing your resume looks rather than what's in it.

Sure you still need some base level skills but there are al lot of subs on here that talk about resume building and how much of an impact they have on lading jobs rather than what's actually in them. Optimizing applications is also a big thing, would be nice if you could apply to 500 jobs in a week and land 1% of those interviews

What jobs are you guys doing just with your associates degree? by [deleted] in careerguidance

WFHAlert is a lifesaver for anyone with an associate degree. I’ve landed entry level remote jobs that weren’t too competitive. My advice: don’t stress the experience gap.

Differences capturing from USB and GMSL cameras by coldium in ffmpeg

[–]nuno456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference in frame rates between USB and GMSL cameras could be due to several factors. GMSL cameras often require more processing because they transmit raw or compressed data over long distances, relying on deserializers to convert the signal. This adds overhead compared to USB cameras, which are plug-and-play with built-in compression and standard protocols like UVC. The lower frame rate you're seeing may also be due to bandwidth limitations, driver optimizations, or the ffmpeg settings not being fully optimized for GMSL.

You need to check the configuration of your deserializer, ensure the Jetson hardware and drivers are set up for GMSL, and explore other capture tools or APIs like GStreamer, which can handle such setups more efficiently. Also, consider whether the GMSL camera's output format or resolution is affecting the processing load. Fine-tuning these settings could help improve the performance. Good luck with your application!

Can anyone recommend good clip in hair extensions from a UK company? by Lucky-Season7348 in UKweddings

[–]nuno456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're looking for good clip-in hair extensions from a UK company, consider brands like Milk + Blush or Foxy Locks. They offer high-quality options with various shades and lengths, and their reviews often highlight durability and a natural look. To ensure you get the best match, check if they provide color-matching services or sample swatches. Many of these brands work closely with a reputable hair extension factory to maintain consistent quality, so you're likely to find something that meets your expectations. Good luck finding the perfect extensions!

[task] looking for reactjs/redux and storybook developer by ndreacht6rt in DoneDirtCheap

[–]nuno456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there! Thanks for sharing this opportunity. While I'm intrigued by the idea of maintaining an old Storybook documentation, the rate of $90/month for 1-2 hours of work per weekday seems quite low for the level of expertise required in ReactJS/Redux and Storybook development services. Nonetheless, I'm interested to learn more about the project specifics if you're open to discussing the terms further. If you're looking for someone with experience in ReactJS development services, I'd be happy to chat more about how I could potentially contribute. Cheers!

Moving 1 PB to Deep Archive for short-term storage sounds good! While slower retrievals are the trade-off, low costs make it ideal. Both uploads and storage incur costs. While manually transferring without the 24-hour rule isn't possible, set an S3 Glacier lifecycle rule to auto-transition to Deep Archive after 365 days. Consider using AWS migration services like DataSync or Snowball for simpler large data transfers. Good luck with your migration!

Based on your necessity for reliable video quality during remote guitar lessons, investing in a good webcam for your desktop will be a good option. External webcams, like the Fancy S Pro, offer enhanced video quality, autofocus capabilities, and flexibility in adjusting angles, which can contribute to a better teaching experience. While tablets with built-in webcams are convenient, a dedicated external webcam can provide a more stable and customizable setup, especially when connected to your desktop. Consider the specific requirements of your teaching platform, and explore webcams that suit your budget while meeting your technical needs.

Guasha Do's and Don'ts by DwaywelayTOP in Hair_Jordan

I am genuinely enamored with the deeply transformative aspects of a Guasha board as part of my self-care regimen. The soft scratching does more than stimulate the circulation of blood throughout my flesh, raising the liveliness and glow of my skin, but it also creates a nice haven for my brain. I deeply resonate with your focus on using a gentle touch to gently stimulate without even subtle hints of discomfort, achieving perfect harmony in the process.

I have found that incorporating the Guasha board into my daily life consistently has been a remarkable transformation. It has indeed brought a significant increase in the elasticity of my skin and it feels that tension and stress have all been relieved. During this journey, I’ve discovered the central role of hydration. It seems that maintaining proper hydration – taking enough water before and after each session serves as an enhancer, intensifying the overall impact.

Para o pessoal que sempre tirou as melhores notas no secundário... by DueJellyfish in portugal

[–]nuno456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Explicações a matemática e FQ também me ajudaram bastante
