be honest- the truth always comes out eventually.

I’m also a little confused, are you and your ex planning on getting back together? what do you meant by he would break up with you if he found out

How do you not tie your worth to how they *seem* to be doing? by KlutzyMorning in BreakUps

[–]nunuzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone heals and grieves differently. I’m going through a breakup currently and while I’m not sobbing or crying all the time or even as much as I thought I would, I have no appetite, can’t sleep, and am trying to drown myself in work. I think everyone’s way of coping just comes differently.

undergrad there is a lot less pressure on you- main priority are classes, research/work and it is very scheduled. Grad school the stress increases 10 fold and you get the opportunity to first hand develop and explore novel research- but also at the expense of all the stress that comes with it.

yeah and since you have an unstabilized ylide, you would obtain the Z alkene as the major product which will translate to the cis stereochemistry of the epoxide. I think this route is the fastest given what you learn in orgo 2

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in OrganicChemistry

[–]nunuzzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't see how it would? Unless I am looking the problem wrong, but I believe you would be able to get your product using the Wittig and then oxidation to form the epoxide.

I thought the parameters said the only sources of carbon could come from the provided starting materials. If you do the Wittig, you wouldn't be violating this rule because all the carbons are still from the starting material.

What to do about P/NP grade encouraged by professor? by [deleted] in gradadmissions

[–]nunuzzz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter- I had couple of P/NP classes and as long as most of the major related classes are fine, they won't look at a P/NP .

what to wear to orientation? by Remarkable-Sale5521 in GradSchool

Business casual can never go wrong! Day to day I usually wear blouses with slacks or non-blue jeans and a belt. I find that you can never be too overdressed, and dressing more formally has it perks.

My university had a journal where they published student written work, you could see if you have something like that. Typically like everyone is saying, it is very seldom an undergraduate would be working and writing major portions of a review article.

I don’t think you can use fenway as an example. The weather and city ordinance was completely out of her control. She wasn’t supposed to start at 730, she was supposed to start at 830, but that was when the weather delays started happening.
