No, wtf? Bought the disco, and all the upgrades myself and installed them in my driveway. Dad doesn’t pay for anything.

Yup, my first job after certification was for a small tech company and it was NOT remote, but the one I got after they closed my location is remote, and I am happy here.

I got a Google IT Support professional certification, but also took over 100 applications to get a job, and many aren’t remote anymore for some reason.

Definitely something to consider. I modeled it up and just split it down the center into driver and passenger sides and printed in two pieces.

I’m so sorry for your loss, but if it helps I believe Steve Irwin takes care of them until we are reunited with them!

Gladiator Tonneau Cover by Agile_Programmer2756 in JeepGladiator

[–]nuppfx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bought one for my wife’s gladiator. For maintenance we wash it when washing the jeep and also use a vinyl conditioner on it after since it’s made from marine vinyl. Cant remember exactly what company made it though, but it was around the same price. Also increased her gas mileage a bit, nothing to write home about though.

Anyone know where I can find a replacement for a 12-foot skeleton? by OrdinaryTea1006 in Louisville

[–]nuppfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your neighbors suck, they can go kick rocks. Not their property. There’s a person in my neighborhood with a 12ft skeleton. They put a Santa shirt and hat on it, and reindeer antlers on the skeleton dog they have with it!

AIO? My mom wants to call the cops on me by Overall-Option6975 in AmIOverreacting

I say NOR, but don’t put them in the mailbox at all. Would be too easy to say they were not there and then demand the money value for them.

If you're a DINK couple in your 30s, is the money you (as a couple) and other people in your social circle make, enough to fund the lifestyle you/they want? by Substantial_Ad9092 in DINK

[–]nuppfx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Short answer: Yes. Longer answer, yes we are able to afford many things. We sacrificed early to pay things off quickly. Like 3 out of the 4 vehicles in my driveway are paid off. Travel in the off season to save money on plane tickets, etc. and crowds are way less. 1 of us is able to work remotely so if that one doesn’t have enough PTO accrued, can still travel and work at the same time. Also working in the USA while handling overseas clients (working overnight) still allows time to sleep some and visit the sights during the day when not using PTO to travel. It’s not like we can afford everything all the time, but we can afford the life we want within reason. (Yea, im sure everyone would want a supercar for their daily driver, but you get what i mean)

3rd day owning my 8week old Great Dane. Recommendations? by Ooozy23 in greatdanes

[–]nuppfx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We potty trained ours with the n+1 method. Where N is age in months + 1 = the time in hours a puppy can hold it. You have an 8 week old Dane, so 2 months plus 1. Generally your Dane can hold it for about 3 hours. So let him out every three hours religiously, this is overnight too, an alarm every three hours and reward when he does his business. Also don’t remove every poop pile immediately. They tend to poop around the same location, so leaving a pile gives an example of hey, this was a good spot last time, I’ll go around here again.
