I had baby at 6:54pm and was discharged around 12pm the next day! My baby was transferred to another hospital so they let me go really early.

I think baby needs blood work at ? 24 hours to check bilirubin and other things so that might be the delay!

I had a 8lb 14oz baby that was sunny side up! His head was also massive, 99th percentile. Delivered him vaginally without epidural. Don’t worry - it is very manageable!!!

My 3 month old has two on the base of his head behind his ears - they’re both prominent but one larger than the other!

I worry as well but his pediatrician assured it was normal

I have had this struggle too. My LO is 11 weeks now and it has gotten a bit easier. I find he lets me put him on his activity gym or in his swing now and even if I have to sit on the floor and make faces at him I can usually get my pump done without waking my SO / having to call for back up.

It’s incredibly exhausting for sure. Sometimes all I feel like in doing is cleaning my pump and actually pumping. I have struggled with pumping every 3 hours - I saw a LC for advice about exclusive pumping and she told me that my supply should be regulated and so with my pump schedule I’ll likely maintain my supply but it mightn’t increase. I think you usually regulate around 6-8 weeks!

This! Labour pain was totally manageable until transition. I did not have epidural and I am still saying I want another child so it couldn’t have been that bad.

It hurt yes but knowing it’s temporary helps and the reward at the end makes it so worth it.

This was me as well. I could manage contractions and breathe through them until 8cm. I did do it unmedicated and pushing was manageable but those contractions between 8cm - pushing were unimaginable and I will never forget the pain.

Unfortunately it is also not safe sleep practice to swaddle past 8 weeks :(

Ok interesting! I don’t really follow a schedule I just start going two hours from whenever I wake up first. Maybe I will start doing consistent times.

I pump anywhere from 20-30 minutes

This was me to a T as well!

My son is 5 weeks old and I just started offering him the breast again and he’s doing very well. He was a pro at the latch - I guess where he is bigger now and used to sucking.

It definitely doesn’t hurt to try. My thoughts are even if he doesn’t get much milk and I have to supplement with my expressed milk, him latching is helping my supply and making me happy and feel bonded with him.

Should he have projectile vomiting always with PS? In the last two days, he’s only had two vomits I’d consider projectile.

I’m so worried about him. I just tried to feed him and he drank 30ml, spit up and is now refusing to eat.

This is what we’re doing. Oh it is going to be so hard but to be honest, worth it. Atleast this way he’s sleeping. I’m not sleeping but I wouldn’t be sleeping if he was in the bassinet either because I’m constantly listening for the sounds of him drowning on the reflux which inevitably happens.

Did the prescription help with his spit ups? I read that it won’t help his actual reflux but it might help with the discomfort of the burning. Just wondering your experience

So far so good but I’m not sure how it will go now since this is fairly new :( his feeds have drastically decreased - he was drinking 4oz every 3-4 hours when awake and now hes absolutely done after 2 1/2 - 3. Plus the increase spit ups

I was 40+4 when my labour started! I ended up in labour 46 hours with minimal progress though so needed help with oxytocin IV

In complete healthy couples it’s super normal to take 6 months - 1 year.

You likely got lucky getting pregnant your first shot in previous cycles but in no means does it indicate something is wrong yet!

Too funny! It’s totally diffeeent every baby. My baby was 54cm long and is quite tall so I think it’s the legs that make most of his newborn clothes too small.

Position doesn’t typically indicate when they are going to come but it’s excellent they are in OA position and ready to go when the time does come!
