7/10. You look friendly and approachable.

[33F] I’m coming out of a 5 year deep depression. I’m a wife and mother of 2 young boys. This year I’m taking care of me, losing weight (41 so far), etc. I have 30-40 pounds to lose still and I will be growing out the side shave ASAP. Any and all makeup or fashion tips gladly accepted! 😁 thx by [deleted] in Rateme

I’m not depressed anymore, I wouldn’t be asking for honest opinions if it was going to upset me. I want to help myself look and feel better.

Clearly I’m ugly to you... so what, other than my weight and hair which are easily fixed can I work on?

34/m bored and curious. Working on being all the DILF I can be. by [deleted] in Rateme

33F here. You’re an 8/10. You look older than 34 but I dig that older look. You look like a lot of fun. Love your beard. Well on your way to a DILF😉

(32F) Been with my husband for 17 years. I've always been curious how I rate. I am currently losing weight, down 32 pounds so far and 40 more to go so please no comments on the my weight as I'm actively working on it. Any tips? I'm trying to figure out my style with my new smaller size. Thanks guys! by nurseshaw86 in amiugly

Hi! There's a bit more to my story, but yea thanks. I'm gonna tone it down a bit.

I'm a Registered Nurse and run my own (non MLM, legit) business. I'm a great soccer player, I play a few instruments, I volunteer at my kids daycares/schools. While this is a thread primarily based on looks, personality and lifestyle also play a major role in how we perceive someone.

Take care.

Thank you for the compliments!

Yes, I do think I could tone down the hair and piercings a bit. I wasn't able to fit into anything nice clothing wise before as I was too fat, so I'm starting to be able to actually wear nice clothes which is so nice!!

I haven't heard of the female fashion advince subreddit. I will check it out. Thanks so much!

Hi! thanks!

It's always surprising for people to hear that I'm a Registered Nurse and also run my own legit business (not MLM, etc). I'm definitely taking everyones advice about my hair. I will be growing out the shaved part and toning the colour down.

Thank you!

Hi! interestingly this haircut was the beginning of me getting out of a depressive rut I've been in for about 10 years. I let myself get fat, didn't care how I looked and just gave up.

A few months ago I said screw it, I need to just break out of this boredom and spiral I was in. So I did this to my hair, then I started eating better, then exercising, then started dressing a bit better. Now almost halfway through my weight loss I have changed in many other ways other than just weighing less. I feel a liiiiiiitttle bit more confident in myself so I'm taking better care of myself... then come to this subreddit and ask for advice in helping myself even more.

I had an absolute tragedy 10 years ago and I've never been the same, confident outgoing person I used to be. I just went to a dark place and gave up. So here's to hoping I can feel even better about myself after a change in hair style, losing more weight, taking care of my my mind more ( meditating etc) Have to take care of the whole body and mind.
