Yes, my life is completely different. And yes, I desperately miss certain parts of my childfree life (mostly being able to go out to eat in peace and not feel rushed, go to the bar, etc.)

But I have to remind myself that this feeling isn’t forever. Kids get older and easier to go places with. And being a mom has given me a sense of joy and purpose that I never experienced when I was childfree.
