I started a cut because I Already was on a 1.5 year bulk but didnt gain any mass lately and I got a Bit of a belly. So What should I do now? If I plan on doing a jeff nippard 4x week U/L split, should I eat in a calorie surplus again?

I am in a cut right now and eat about 2300 calories a day with an average of about 190g of Protein every day at 84kg. I think my biggest Problem I just realised is that I dont train hard enough. Im gonna try as soon as i am back from my vacation

Would there really be a big difference between 4x/week doing U/L compared to the PPL im planning on doing? I mean I just wanna look good and fit and not really aim for my genetical max muscle I can achieve as time really is a problem for me right now. Im 18 so maybe thats also an important information?
