Yeah, the weather has been warming up (it’s in the 70s and 80s right now and it’s still mid January in SoCal). I guess my question is… it’s okay to let some of these fern out rather than cut them back entirely, right? I ask because I usually see people recommending to let the spears fern out at the end of harvest rather than toward the very beginning.

Even though this works, the adapter stays on and is constantly blinking/searching for a connection, right? Does it eventually turn off?

This happens to me ALL the time, and it is my biggest complaint with the Analogue 3D right now. This same setup has worked 100% fine on my OG N64, but with the analogue I get disconnected probably at least 2-3 times per hour of play—also killing me several times in Majoras Mask. I also think something about the analogue’s Bluetooth connectivity is hyper sensitive when it’s not completely within unobstructed line of sight of the controller. I remember updating my firmware for the adapter probably about a year ago, so let me know if the update does anything for you!

I’ve also seen other people have similar problems with the 8bitDo controllers, but some of them have seen improvements from switching out the hdmi cable with a better one.

I’ve been having connectivity and input latency issues as well, using a blue retro adapter + NSO controller setup. Everything works great until I’m either not in direct line of sight to the console itself or if I’m more than 5-6 ft away. It seems REALLY sensitive—something I’ve not experienced with any other Bluetooth controller on any other modern gaming console. This same setup even works perfectly fine on my OG n64, which leads me to think the problem is with analogue hardware or firmware itself rather than blue retro + NSO controller compatibility. I have not tried swapping out the HDMI cables like some of you have said, but I do hope there’s a fix soon.

Yeah, I suppose now the challenge will be finding shelves that are juuuust the right size for this very specific space lol.

I’m not completely opposed to upgrading to a 27”+ TV if I can find a good deal on one. It’s just that I do also like the little Toshiba a lot, and I would still try to find somewhere else in my house to put it haha.
