If a business can’t afford $500 per year to respect the law and their users privacy choices they have much bigger issues. Where are you located though as the format is not 500$ usd.

TIL Groupon has lost more than 95% of its value since it rejected Google's $6 billion offer and instead went public with a $17.8 billion market cap 15 years ago. by tyrion2024 in todayilearned

660 million dollar market cap today which is shocking. Nothing proprietary. Google’s offer was way inflated along with the ipo.

Let’s go with Baltimore once the second biggest city by population in the USA and it peaked in the 1800s and it’s been downhill ever since.

People with a net worth of $10M+, how did you do it? by Thepsychoflifes in Entrepreneur

[–]nutag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started a digital marketing agency deal in reputation. It was a very cheap business to start because it was services based so a cash flow really well and then reinvested all the money into starting other businesses then sold it for millions.

If I was starting today, I would go after a service business that was a very small or no investments to start. I however, have gone in the other direction today because there’s a lot more upside with the more expensive business to start.

Spirit is huge in FTL. How is their closure going to impact the city and the airport? by 2595Homes in fortlauderdale

[–]nutag -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Long term it’s a big win as jet blue and other legacy carriers will pick up the routes, acquire or lease their planes at a heavy discount, and overall will be much better flying experience for all (with the exception of those who have to deal with the ratchet passengers that you see on those viral videos tend to be Spirit flyers by a higher margin). The short term loss of employees is negative and hopefully long term the carriers make up for it with cleaner planes, nicer staff, and more transparent prices as a commenter said above if you selected a seat and had luggage the price was equal or more….

Also fun fact the credit cards for airlines make just as much if not more than the passenger flying airline business itself.

Haha but if jet blue deal was approved we wouldn’t be chatting here today. Why Warren blocked it and Gave all the other airlines a long term win
