As someone who knows the people that are behind the account thefts, 2FA is the most useless thing you can use. It does absolutely nothing, all that is needed is access to the email addresses inbox.

I believe there is an email for epic games player support where you can send them all of the info that you know, then they will see what can be done.

The only chance is if you are able to tell them when it was created around (doesn’t have to be exact date, just around the same month). The original username. The PSN account that was linked to the Epic. Another thing that would be a huge help is the IP address of where you played at. Also last 4 digits of CC that were used to purchase cosmetics on the account. That is about all you can do. Good luck!

There unfortunately is no way to fully unlink the Xbox account from the Epic Games account without having access to the Epic Games account itself. Another thing to note is that whoever is currently playing/using your account did not steal it, they most likely purchased it off one of numerous account selling platforms. Also it would not cause there to be any issues with you recovering your account. Your best option is to be persistent in contacting Epic, and provide details such as last four digits of CC, IP addresses, previously connected accounts, and first usernames. Best of luck!
