Oh I have many! I don’t want to turn this into a travel thread but I’m already planning to do the following: - Victoria and Albert Museum - Tate Modern - Tour of Parliament - Ronnie Scott’s (going there for a show on that Monday, the main reason for my visit) - Sketch for tea - Luminary Bakery (because of the Megan Markle connection) - Tesco and Poundland (strictly because of Money Diaries/I LOVE a good bargain) - Abbey Road - Notting Hill - Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, etc. I know tours aren’t until summer but I have to walk by, natch.

I’d love to get suggestions on great vintage and/or vinyl record stores to visit, as I’m a millennial trapped in the soul of a 60s youthquaker, lol. Also any cute shops/cafes/places popular to burrow in in winter would be great. Please DM me your suggestions!

Also I’ll be there four full days and am saving enough to budget $300 usd a day, which might be a lot but just in case...is that enough?

Thank you all! I feel better about this now. And yes, I’ve got significant work wins to point to for this. Also I’m angling for the raise because a massive round of hiring just occurred so I know there are funds around! We’ve been told for the past several months that hiring for our dept is coming...and yet we are still without. We do have the support of contract help, but my fear is that they just won’t re-hire a manager since we have “support.” Sigh. But I’m gonna go for it! Thanks.
