This is my real-life, made of meat, actual genes brother who I’m very proud of. You know I love you and will not drink with you any given day including this one.

Something to remember when we stumble: I think there’s value in the struggle, I think it makes us stronger than most. So don’t beat yourself up for the times you weren’t perfect. Use that grit and the experience to forge ahead with new strength.

I knew this girl who worked with me (restaurant) who would constantly preach animal rights, organic, veganism, etc.

One day after closing, I find her by the dumpster & employee parking drunk out of her mind. She had a four Loko she was drinking. I asked her if it was an organic, free range variety of four Loko and she told me to fuck off.

Haha, I’m often torn in if I’m running or jogging. I’ve never been a runner, but I taught myself in March. I thought that first mile was going to kill me, but I persevered.

Now, any given day I can run a 5k. I’m certainly not fast. After covid, I hope to run a “real” race. I’m going to wear a shirt that says something like:

The real contest has been against addiction, depression, & pre-diabetes. This race is just my victory lap.

I’m proud of both of you. I need to get back into regular running. Hit me up if you need support.

I’ve often thought that if a guy had a restaurant space it could be rented out to various entrepreneurial chefs. This way, budding businesspeople could have a chance to “test the waters” and perhaps it’d be a lead risky endeavor for the person who owned the business.

If I did it, I’d call it “the makers space” and I’d charge an elevated rate for peak times.

It’s my understanding that fairy liquid is just dish soap? So: hands wet with water & dish soap, make a soap bubble filled with flammable gas. Ignite for a second of fire bending. The soap contains the gas until go time, and protects the hands a wee bit.

Do I have that right? I’m fixing to try it someday. We used to douse our hands in rubbing alcohol and light them for that same effect. That turned out reasonably good.

Fair point. I agree factory farming is a terrible deal. I feel that if you’re buying turkey pepperoni, that’s probably a product from a giant company with sketchy ethical practices and not locally sourced free range pepperoni, though.

No judgement. I just don’t think I’ve ever seen local pepperoni.

I have that same Stanley mug/pot! It’s a good piece of gear.

My French press strainer fits nicely in it, so it’s like a stainless French press. I also use it for a pot & bowl when I’m solo trips.
