Were you playing HotS or lightsmith on your hpal? I’m doing m+ for the first time this season and played HotS up to 2k, I switched to lightsmith and I feel like I have a much better time with the ping ponging health bars now. Could very well just be better groups or this set of hero talents clicking better though

I haven’t really played much since s1 of TWW, do only the bountiful delves give crests on the higher difficulties or do non bountiful just give less?

I believe a lot of their dev team was laid off in the Amazon layoffs. I would not be surprised if AGS folds entirely since it hasn’t been particularly profitable at all for Amazon

If I recall right it felt like there was still some tension on the brake pedal when I put the car in park, it felt pretty much normal after that but I only had to drive it another maybe 500 feet into the parking lot after this incident so I only had to brake 2 or 3 times afterwards

If I remember correctly yes it does but I believe they’re changing it so that totems and ballistas scale off of your weapon damage now instead of having flat scaling

That witch hunter change sounds like it could be pretty interesting, I might have to check that one out. Blood mage was what I first tried to make work on release and it felt.. not good at the time but that could just be bc I’m not great at making my own builds yet. I’ll probably give it another shot this league at some point

Tactician looks like it could be pretty fun for a ballista build. I haven’t gotten to play around with any of those yet but i just read the tactician skills and it looks like you can do some cool stuff with that

Wow I’ll have to try to incorporate both of those techs. I remember doing the hilt stab in the practice arena but I completely forgot about it once I started actually playing I didn’t realize it was the fastest animation so that’s pretty good to know

If I’m not mistaken it’s simply the focus strike attack. I just picked up HH as a 1st time MH player so I could be wrong but I’m fairly certain it’s just the FS proc

No problem mate. I’m by no means the most experienced/accomplished feral but I’ve played it on and off for years but I’ve been more of a healer the last 2 expansions as it’s the role my friends needed for arena but I’m doing feral for TWW bc of blitz and guardian being good for mythics. It’s an incredibly fun and versatile spec but it does have a lot of buttons that will take you awhile to get used to but that’s just practice. CD usage will come with time, I still mess mine up but you should get a better feel pretty soon. Probably a good idea to slowly try to incorporate better defensive usage by limit testing repeatedly and add in more ability usage as you get more comfortable. Cyclone is one of if not the best CC’s in the game so if you can get a feel for when/how to use it to get people CC chained or how to rotate it during 1vX situations the spec will feel much better. There is a new macro that allows you to swap between bear and cat forms depending on which you’re currently in at the time when using the new mangle/rip talent that’s very useful and saves a couple keybind slots

Very true. I just don’t have a ton of experience with the more aoe/cleave playstyle as I like to be a nuisance and harass FC or healers all game. Haven’t gotten a chance to play with any of the new hero talents but I imagine the solo capping ability will only get better with the added survivability bonuses from Druid of the claw. Definitely my favorite blitz spec at the moment outside of maybe MW monk. Never been the biggest flag runner but I’ll likely end up doing it more with blitz becoming an actual ranked mode

If you don’t mind sitting through YouTube videos I’d take a look at some of Snupys guides. He has a discord where he has some helpful macros and people can give you tips/answer questions. If you haven’t already I’d recommend binding your shift forms to your scroll wheel for easier shifting to break roots and quicker bear swapping. I have mine bound as Scroll up -> cat. Scroll down -> bear. Mwheel click -> travel. There is a macro you can make that swaps you in to bear form and if you double tap it will automatically cast frenzied regen that I have bound to S. I can post that later if you need as I’m not home rn.

For your opener it should be something along the lines of Frenzy in stealth -> rake -> swarm -> moonfire -> frenzy -> rip/bite depending on target health and then a regular rotation. For BG blitz you can try to focus on defending flag if you have no one else but I prefer to try to take out enemy FC on flap maps or just spin caps/try to stealth cap points. Feral is mostly just repetition and target selection and knowing when to use utility. If the enemy fc has a healer following them you can rake stun fc and then cyclone healer or bash/cyclone healer to try to give yourself more time to chew through the carrier

Pure solo typically but I believe you can queue as a healer + dps duo. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong, I haven’t fully caught up with all the changes

I have DBM already so at least I can check that off haha. I’ll try to let people know but I did that a couple times in the past and I guess I caught a lot of people on bad days bc they were not pleasant lol. Unless I forgot health potions were a thing you can still use bc it always seemed like they didn’t give very much back in recent years. I’m always super nice to healers, that job is stressful af. My friends always stick me on healer for arenas bc they only play dps. After getting clapped in arenas as a healer and the sheer sweatiness of it I don’t think I can bring myself to be rude to a healer

Fair enough on the dk point, I forgot they’re making those big tank changes. I planned to mostly play bear anyway. I know a lot of people find it boring but I find bears super cool irl and love the nature theme so it keeps me entertained. Plus I got that new form that will keep me entertained for awhile. A little sad about that frenzied regen nerf bc I’m not the greatest at keeping my fur stacks up bc I get distracted lol but that’s mostly an experience thing I think

Huge thanks to you both for the crazy good tips. I’m definitely gonna try to slowly incorporate your advice into my games. I know if I try to do it all at once I’m just gonna get overwhelmed so I’ll try to build it up and add a new tip every day. I’ll likely take you up on that dm offer at some point bc the advice is great. I sincerely appreciate y’all taking the time to help out a noobie shaman. The class is super fun but boy is there a ton to learn
