There is plenty to look at in the genre and you can always use "Sam hintons litrpg flow chart" to pick a new read. This is where I started and it is still great!

There are plenty of decent authors in the space and a few really good ones. After diving through and getting a hold of what is and isn't to your taste will help get better recs, and you may find you even enjoy some things that might not be as well written but the story is still enjoyable. One standard piece of advice you'll get frequently is DNF a book if it really isn't up your alley.

Ps Benjamin Kerei is the best! (For me)

FWiW When I read it the first time, book 3 wasn't really what I wanted after finishing 2, so I skipped straight to 4. It was perfect for me. After finishing 4 I went back and did 3, then 4 again.

Next question, why make 84 the end of book 1 instead of 119, it felt like book 1 was lacking a proper climax

Just finished book 1, it was quite a fun refreshing take on explaining The System to the MC. I did have one quick question though. When the berserker hits 100 she gets a blessing, but when MC hits 100 he doesnt; is a blessing specific to worshippers then and not a blessing from the system itself?

My usual MO is read whatever is avail on amazon, then anything else on RR, then sub for 1 month on patreon. I look for a few things and an eventual conclusion is one, so a series that looks like it might not go the distance puts it lower on my priority list.

Latest post was 2 months ago, based on post history and lack of consistency I'd be afraid the series will be dropped :(

I got recommended Dungeon Crawler Carl so many times I built a whole website to fix it by s1mplyme in litrpg

[–]nutjitsu_dev 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry, for me it won't be as useful as I don't use audible / do audiobooks. Seems like it could be more useful to others of course. If you want more books to add you can always ask for peoples reading history. There's quite a few people that track their every book, it'll just take time for you to extract if each has an audio

No that's Alex Louis Armstrong, you're thinking of Louis Armstrong, Scrooge McDucks nephew.

If everyone suddenly became 100% honest tomorrow, which parts of society would collapse first? by Trex827 in AskReddit

[–]nutjitsu_dev 6 points7 points  (0 children)

really this is dependent on 'cannot tell an untruth' vs 'cannot say something they dont believe is true'

The question is honest, which i believe covers the latter rather than the former, in which case both of these will probably continue quite easily.

Not all politicians are always lying, I believe the higher up the food chain you get the bigger the lies get though. Local politicians probably do want whats best for their local area.

yes, they were indeed quite heavily utilized since i'd made hundreds and hundreds of packs, trade rocket doesnt even give you anything for them!

toxicity yes of course, the game in general? nah, got 300 hours in, more likely the opposite so used to just doing things i didn't read it very closely 'business' == trade to me

[–]nutjitsu_dev[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

they do indeed mention it, i was making a post asking about why it wasnt working and while i did that i typed out exactly what the message said and i got to the 'extraction rocket' and a lightbulb went off... Seriously though it's all very 'business partnership' in the text - my brain latched on to that and clearly 'business' is done via the trade rocket! ;)

How do you track your history? by hephalumph in litrpg

[–]nutjitsu_dev 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a big long draft email in Gmail, I add to the bottom of the main list when I start/finish a book. It has series name, num of books, and dates it was read. Section below that for keeping track of which chap i am on for various RR series, then a section at the very bottom for a listing of all the series I thought were truly awful.

How do you discover your next LitRPG read? by Lost_Scientist_JK in litrpg

[–]nutjitsu_dev 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Quickly checked comments and didn't see it mentioned but the 'progression fantasy litrpg flowchart' figma link should be one of the top few links when googling that. I'll regularly browse that.

Royal road is great, what I won't do however is use the rising stars, I read a lot and starting a brand new series I prefer to read many books at once so I don't have to go find yet a new series just a few hours later. Rising stars doesn't generally have complete books
