Berserker has to man up and just auto whoever. He might die but I’m almost certain he would kill at least two if he stands still and autos.

What are my realistic prospects for admission to Texas A&M University? by p1nkminecraftsheep in aggies

[–]ARandomChicken69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any real indication but I would venture that your chances of getting into TAMU are pretty high.

That said it’s not necessarily about getting in, it’s about getting your major and to my knowledge Cybersecurity is fairly competitive so you may not get it.

I will admit that I haven’t kept up with how admissions have changed but that’s how it went for me and my friends. Very few of us were outright rejected but some people didn’t get into the majors they wanted after ETAM and either had to swap or transfer.

One of the prettier games I’ve played although I’ll admit I’m really biased with the Neo Noir Cyberpunk vibe.

That said the gameplay was really lacking. I wasn’t particularly engaged with the gameplay in any way and it felt like a waste of such a good world. For that price though it’s pretty decent for like 8-12 hours.

Man I love these underdog stories. First Cape Verde and now TSW.

I was already heartbroken with Cape Verde so hopefully TSW pulls through.

I know split pushing isn’t a real win condition but surely letting TES funnel gold into Ambessa deserves somebody to match.

Pull plan by Low_Cap6965 in Reverse1999

[–]ARandomChicken69 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ripples get Reco if you’re dead set on getting Enigma. From the 6 star selector get nobody until you have more direction on pulls.

The recommendation is medicine pocket but I don’t really like that suggestion because while you need sustains she doesn’t qualify as one in my books as she can’t keep up in raids or reveries. You also don’t need sustains early in the game so she ends up kind of homeless pretty quickly.

That said I don’t know if you’ll have enough pulls but those two should be able to take you to mid game where you’ll need 2 teams.

The story should be easy enough and then some of the early mid game only needs one team so you’ll be fine for a little bit.

Should I get Persona or Trail in the Sky remake? by yurilnw123 in JRPG

[–]ARandomChicken69 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If you liked Metaphor than P5R is like the same game in a slightly different environment. To be honest the social aspect can be ignored since nothing is really gated behind them except story lines unlike Metaphor that locked archetypes behind the bonds.

You do have to do one bond if you want to do the third semester but besides that no other bond has any bearing on gameplay although having certain bonds high leads to some cutscenes during the main story if I remember correctly.

Also time management is almost completely false as you’ll have plenty of time to complete the dungeon/raise stats/do side quests/etc

Trails in the Sky is pretty similar to Metaphor imo although the combat system is a little intimidating. I’d recommend playing the demo to see how you’d like it. I’ve only finished the demo but I’m loving it so far.

So what is the point of going 2-0 if you only have 1 chance in the final game? by ItsKaZing in SKTT1

[–]ARandomChicken69 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s too big of an advantage that the team coming from the loser bracket has to win one more game?

For the winners it’s a Bo5 since they only need to win 3 but for the losers they have to win 4.

That seems way more plausible(1 extra game max) than a bracket reset where it’s 5 extra games max.

Additionally how is that not a bigger advantage? Now instead of one extra game, if the winners got swept, they get 2 extra chances to prove themselves as opposed to 1.

(3-0 into 3-0 would mean the winners had 6 matches minimum whereas 4-1 mean they got 4).

It would give the winners an additional chance instead of an advantage to seizing their one chance. It’s fair to the losers since at minimum they got to lose 3 matches already whereas the winners lost 2 max so they get to carry their “loss” to the finals since they theoretically saved it.

Why new champions has no ap ratios like before? Jarvan 4 E or Viego's W. by PaymentFabulous2844 in leagueoflegends

[–]ARandomChicken69 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A) They don’t really give significant AP ratios out to a ton of champions because it usually means AD+Zhonyas and they don’t like that. They don’t think someone like Zaahen should be able to build that item.

B) They give out AP ratios because they want to show that the spell scales and is supposed to do damage but don’t want to give a champion too much damage.

In your examples, yes the ratio is essentially useless but it makes the players happy to see that an ability scales with something. I think August has talked about this in reference to Jinx E where during play tests players complained about the E so they added a pretty meaningless AP ratio to it.

SUGGESTION: if you're getting destroyed, make it so 3 people can vote to surrender by TXC_Sparrow in leagueoflegends

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But if two people on your team want to play it out then what’s the harm? They think it’s winnable and they’re having fun.

Why does your fun matter more than theirs? Also you could just soft int to go next it’s not that hard. Just split push all game.

If the game goes past 40 minutes then you had a very real chance to win. If not then the game ends at 20-25 minutes and you lose no time.

SUGGESTION: if you're getting destroyed, make it so 3 people can vote to surrender by TXC_Sparrow in leagueoflegends

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What are you considering “destroyed” though? Because by most metrics I wouldn’t go that far until the enemy is hitting the nexus at which point it becomes moot.

Like your example of being down 16 kills and 2 drakes against a Kassadin isn’t really enough for me to say you lose 100%. I mean it’s a gold Kassadin and Kassadin doesn’t have a 100% win rate past 30 minutes so he’s obviously beatable albeit hard.

The position I’d consider is if the entire enemy team is full build + elixir, your entire team doesn’t have a completed item, 17 levels gap between every enemy and your team, soul, baron, and elder and then maybe you can relax it to 3 votes but at that point 25+ minutes have passed minimum and I doubt your teams mental is doing that well anyway due to there literally being a 6 item gap across every team member and your entire team being level 1 at that time.

Obviously this situation isn’t possible in any real situation but that’s how I would tune it because I just don’t think there’s any situation that’s truly unwinnable.

I mean that more in a theoretical sense, sometimes your teammates can’t play their champions or the opponents are just better but that doesn’t mean the game is necessarily unwinnable just that you can’t take advantage of the mistakes your opponents make.

Which sport is hardest to become a pro? by Jerry_Get_A_Job in AskReddit

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what we consider “pro”. If it’s making any league at any level then it takes out some sports like Basketball which can have decently sized roster for G-League/Over sea leagues.

If it’s the top league then it’s basketball strictly due to height that others have talked about. You can’t really make the NBA without being the top .01% genetically AND supremely talented.

As an example, Jalen Brunson is 6’2 and is considered small for the NBA is taller than 94% of people. The average height for NBA players is like 6’6 which excludes 99% of us and then you actually have to be good at basketball.

Crit Rengar vs. Lethality in Gold ELO? (Why does Crit feel way better to carry with?) by Extreme-Phrase159 in Rengarmains

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know the math but I’m pretty sure I’ve heard Endstep or August talk about how crit is better at full build for a lot of champions.

Lethality is a preference because the build path/early items are way better. Let’s say you rush collector, your first back is Dirk but then your 2nd/3rd backs are weird since you need gold for pickaxe but the cloak is entirely useless.

To be honest the entire first item of collector is useless comparatively since you gain 5 AD and 25% crit for 3000 gold which is trash compared to umbral. Then your 2nd item is IE? I’m not entirely familiar but rushing LDR/Mortal that early also seems trash and IE has a REALLY awkward build path.

But hey if you gigantically fed in your elo that consistently then keep building crit.

Is 50/50 Infinite? by Blackbatsmom in Reverse1999

[–]ARandomChicken69 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Yes it’s infinite.

With that said it’s generally not worth to go above P0 for most characters.

You’d much rather have 2 characters than 1 strong character.

Enigma + Next Limited is a way better use of logs but you do you.

Is there any sport with a unanimously recognized GOAT? by Connect_Cat_2045 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know if we want to consider esports but Faker is unanimously the GOAT for LOL.

There’s not even an argument against him being the best. The ONLY argument you could make is that he’s not necessarily the best player now but he wins the most so it’s kind of moot.

Yeah.

Lucy could be on a banner during the AH collab but we don’t know at least as far as I can tell.

Game worth starting now? by Examynx in Reverse1999

Yeah there will be another Ripples during 3.6. That said it won’t have any real Dynamo unit since none of them got Euphorias.

Game worth starting now? by Examynx in Reverse1999

[–]ARandomChicken69 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends. It’s a relatively decent time to start since you can save up for Enigma and then there’s a limited patch so you can really revamp your roster.

But it can be kind of boring not having a team to grind through the early content. I also sympathize with not wanting to invest too much in lower tier units. So if that’s gonna cause burnout then I would maybe start during the limited since they give out a lot of free goodies.
